You're slacking, Senusret! Do better!

This dirty ass woman needs a bathing intervention, too. She disgusts me with that aerosal(or whatever?) can.

I'm glad animal control and the police have come by.

The officer with the moustache looks like an extra from Reno 911.

Did her skinny, spray canned ass think she was going to resist arrest? Wow.

This intervention w/ Allison the inhalant girl is CRAZY!!!

The stuff the family did to try and get her into treatment could have gone horribly wrong!

I know, she looks like Amy Crackhouse.

The sister was being soooooooooo codependent.

Mark Hamill runs rehab!

That girl was so crazy, and sick, and sad at the same time.

It's like her half-sister said, "she wants to kill herself and wants to make sure she does it as loudly as possible so everyone knows how bad she was hurting."

I seriously thought the cops were going to hurt her because she's like 90 lbs and trying to resist two grown men.

I'm really glad the family followed through because she was badly in need of help.

Allison was a whack job and a huge baby. Jeff, the interventionist, summed it up perfectly when he called her "Queen Baby." I wouldn't have the patience to deal with someone like her, it must be exhausting for that family.

And agreed on the sister being completely co-dependent. She wants her to get help but then she's like craddling her head while the cops arrest her? So much for the tough love that an intervention recommends.

They need to just go the "The Cleaner" route. I love that show.

last night's episode was crazy. i cried a little (but laughed a lot).

i almost DIED when her mom said, "that's a funny face you're making"... then she was like "no, it's rage and anger. towards you."

not funny, but damn.

I was really happy that this week's episode turned out so well. The guy's daughter was precious and I'm glad he decided to quit drinking for her.

I was touched when he sang that song at the end. :)

He has a decent voice. I'm sure his voice is also recuperating from his addiction.

Tonight's episode is one of the saddest things I've seen in awhile (the older alcoholic couple with the 4 adult kids).

I'm quoting myself because Office Max (or Depot?) was supposed to card me for the computer duster/keyboard cleaner last week. I purchased the can and a some Dove dark chocolate (good stuff!). He said "I'm supposed to card you...but I don't think I need to."

I instantly thought of this episode. And this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IjBEf25Alw

I've been watching this show for a few weeks, but I always forget to post about it. There was one I saw a few weeks back that was particularly disturbing.

This guy was an alcoholic and he ended up going to the ER because he had passed out and his family said he wasn't breathing. When in the hospital, he wanted something to drink SO BADLY that he put Purell (hand sanitizer) in a cup added some water, and DRANK IT.

My kidneys and liver hurt just watching it.

^^^ Okay, YUCK!

I watched the one the other day with the man who had SO MUCH emotional baggage and was an alcoholic.

He had been with his boyfriend for 15 years and his boyfriend was such an enabler.

I saw that. He seemed pretty stuck on the fact that no one acknowledged his relationship with his partner like they did his sister's marriage.

He kept saying that stuff like how much he wanted a wedding and that recognition of their partnership, how no one recognizes that they've been together longer than sister and hubby, how he's devalued because he's not hetero male with a family. There was a whole lot going on there and I agree that partner was not helpful.
