That's great news! It sounds like all of our extension teams have been really excelling with our recent colonies. I always love to hear that Gamma Phi is spreading (particularly in the South).
I happen to also sell sorority merchandise online and had a GPhi order last week go to Kennesaw, GA. I wrote a little note congratulations on the invoice in case it was a woman affiliated with the new colony, I was just so pleased! |
KSU Colony
The KSU Colony is off to a great start! The new members are truly phenomonal women!
notes of congratulations can be sent to: Rachel Christiansen |
Any news from the schools who have expressed interest in NPC expansion?
I love that International has been doing so much expansion lately, and that the colony recruitment has been so successful. I hope they don't plan on slowing down any time soon! |
How awesome is our extension team???:)
And I'd love to see us announce some new colonies, too. |
UTSA
This last Saturday, we installed the UTSA colony as Zeta Psi Chapter! We also initiated 43 new members and 4 alumnae initiates. It was a wonderful week. I participated in the Love, Labor, Learning and Loyalty activity days leading up the this last weekend and I'm exhausted but truly happy. The reception was held at the Dominion Country Club and the weather couldn't have been nicer. :) Taylor Estes, all of the advisors that worked with the girls are to be commended for their super hard work and a job well done!

That's great news - now, if we could just get a chapter a little further north . . . :)

I would love to see another chapter in Georgia! The University of West Georgia is reportedly going to open for expansion in a year or so and that is only 40 mins from here. LOTS of local girls go to college there - they have a great teachers program there. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE for Gamma Phi Beta to be at West Georgia!!!!!!!!!!!:D |
For those who may not have already seen this announcement from Council.
o Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio (fall 2008). Gamma Phi Beta will be the first NPC group on this growing campus just outside of Cleveland, Ohio. o Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri (fall 2008). Gamma Phi Beta will recolonize our Delta Nu Chapter on this campus formerly known as Southwest Missouri State University. o University of North Carolina-Pembroke in Pembroke, North Carolina (spring 2010). Along with the university, Gamma Phi Beta will consider campus conditions at that time with the intention of colonizing on this campus. Yeah for recolonizations!!!! |
Great news!!!!
