beta chapter
 

I just visited the campus that will be home to my sorority's beta chapter! We will chater them at the end of their crossing new members.

I *think* we have 6 girls new membering this semester... News from the girls is few and far between... I think their having some serious problems but don't want to tell any of us older alumni girls... I hope they can handle it....

sad but maybe good news
 

a member of my sorority was approached yesterday buy the university student affairs/ greek advisor. Apparently too many people are inquiring about our group and i think he's wants us to stop wearing our letters on campus. i know he cant force us to, but now our chapter members are weary about putting on letters. I had a short talk with him myself about the situation, even though i stressed to him about our status as an independent organization, he continued on, because he felt too many students at the university were already members. So, as a result, we are definitely pushing to join a council. we will do our best to become more recoginized as a regional organization and hopefully this will satisfy university rules.

Oh no OmegaPD I'm sorry to hear that =( I hope things work out and your girls don't have to duck and weave while wearing their letters. Good luck!

Our organization was founded in October of 2002 and since then we have a total of 90 brothers and a Beta chapter, nearing the creation of our headquarters.

Thanks guys! I love my beta babies so much, they are all so wonderful! =) Sometimes people wonder if we purposely try to be a multicultural sorority and I just go nope, we just sorta roll like that lol. Best of luck to everyone and their new classes!

Congrats on your beautiful new class! We just initiated our Epsilon Class last weekend! 3 years after founding Delta Gamma Zeta and we're over 30 strong! (for us that's big because we're on a mostly non-greek campus) :):):)

locals whats going on? My local is actively pre-paring for the summer and hopefully we will initiate new summer members for 2008. How successful was everyone else in their spring semester?

just initiated 10 pledges in the fall and 2 in the spring. GDPi as it is now, without the two new sisters we initiated in the spring :)

omega phi delta is now a member of the national american greek council. we are so excited!
