As it has been said before, non-NPCs should not be the back-up when someone can't join a NPC organization.

A 30 year old lady should worry more about completing her degree instead of wondering whether she should join a group of 18-21 year olds. That ship has sailed.

That you are a smart sockpuppet? Oh.

*sigh* You girls are sad.

So irishpipes is correct in saying you're a sockpuppet?

Nice!

Most people won't admit to it :)

Keep reading princess...or are you one that chooses what she will out of a conversation in order to fit your (lack of) arguement.

Chemcat ... I hate to butt in but you might want to check the list of posts on this thread. I believe that you were probably referring to two posts earlier. Your statement has inadvertantly made you appear to be a smart sock puppet by your own admission. Sorry!

You bore me now.
If you can respond with something other than giggly little accusations, then you are worth my time, otherwise..umm..yeah, you bore me.

..not the one about the sockpuppet, mindyou...bout the reason why a 30 year old would not be accepted...

CITY? :D

On a serious note, you're the one who posted it. Irishpipe's "last statement" before you posted is post #72 in this thread. Your post about Irishpipes' "last statement" is post #73.

Just sayin'.

And if you're bored, by all means, please go to HRPL.

Actually, I find that most of the "girls" who replied to you are happy, well-adjusted, intelligent women.

What I find sad is a person posting here for the first time, attacking people who were simply responding to someone asking for their thoughts on her situation as posted.

Why are you so angry? It's odd that a person jumps into a message board with such vehemence. Were you somehow slighted in the past? Were you in a similar situation as these women? Are you a sockpuppet to one of the "older women" looking to join a sorority?

I always find it interesting when someone new personally attacks established members of a message board. (It's not saying that a newbie cannot join a conversation or become a valued member of a community, but your behavior raises flags). Without "knowing" or at least being familiar with a person's posts, posting style, personality, it seems very strange to make character or intelligence judgment without seeming like a whiny 10 year old.

I suggest you learn to control your impulses. Read, re-read, and digest what is being said and try to understand the intent of the posters instead of making snap judgments and personal attacks. Being able to control yourself is a sign of maturity and civility. If you lack either, then find another sandbox to play in.

Turkey baster?

I don't know why I am responding seriously to your asinine comments, but I am one of the more open minded people on here as far as older students joining a sorority is concerned. But when I see a 30 year old mom of two say she's going back to college partly to join a sorority, that tells me that her priorities are out of whack. If she would have said "I was thinking about it, is it feasible?" she would have gotten a different response from me. But she DIDN'T say that.

Keep responding like an adult, 33girl.

You continue to prove my point...no sister of mine, would be - or are anything -like you.

So what sorority are you in, toots?

Never mind, I see you got banned for being a general jerk. Bye! You can probably still post under your regular username though!!

Is 25 too old?

I went to college for a year and a half at age 17 and then got very unsure of what I wanted to do with my life, so I dropped out. Now I know exactly what I want to do...which just happens to be a doctor, neurologist to be exact. :) Anyways, I just turned 25, but I am very young at heart ;) Would 25 be seen as way too old to rush a sorority???
