Top Gun!

Especially when Goose dies!:o

Only seen it dozens of times!

Soft of heart!

Okay, so a bunch of these have already been listed, but I am a huge sap and will cry at pretty much anything...

-Beaches (I love this movie and always cry at the end)
-Steel Magnolias
-City of Angels (no matter what, I bawl like a baby)
-My Life (I am such a sap I bought this movie because it's that good)
-Titanic
-The Notebook
-In Her Shoes (my sister & I are that close)
-Star Trek: Nemesis (yes, I am a nerd, but only the Star Trek fans may get this one)
-A Walk to Remember
-The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (when she goes to the dad's wedding)

As well as probably most Disney movies ever made. Like I said, I'm a big sap.

:)

Something about families and friends splitting up, possibly forever...When I see these episodes rerun, all I can think about is how many people I've had to say good-bye to!! Gets me everytime (especially now--graduation time;) ).

OMG I cried at the last BMW episode.

Also we bought Blood Diamond today and I'm making my parents watch it. I already warned my mother that it's extremely emotional and I know I will cry again.
Oh, remembered another one-I cried during LOTR-Fellowship when Gandalf fell.

The dog doesn't even have to die for me to cry! No one has mentioned Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey. That movie can get me started crying so hard I'm worthless for a good 10 minutes after it's over. When Chance and Sassy have reunited with the younger kids... and Peter says, "He [Shadow] was too old..." And we don't know whether Shadow made it or not, but then he comes limping over the hill. Wahhhhhh!!!!! I'll truly sob during this scene.

The original version of The Incredible Journey is about 394385793485394875 times better than the OMG That Dog Sounds Like Michael J Fox version. :) It makes me cry too.

I think that's about it.

TOTALLY !!!!!!!

Also Titanic.. (NO NOT WHEN LEO DIES) but when i see all those people in the water with frozen hair, grabbing onto pieces of wood.... blue lips... OMG... soo sad. :(

southernbelle84 03-26-2007 02:13 PM

I always cry at My Girl one. When he dies and she finally goes to his funeral and kinda flips out abdout how he can't see w/o his glasses. I cry everytime.

The Notebook of course. Who can watch that movie w/o crying?
Raise Your voice w/ Hillary Duff. I always cry when her brother dies.

unspokenone25 03-26-2007 09:49 PM

I know it's not a movie but...

The episode of Nate's funeral on Six Feet Under. It's on Bravo right now and I'm bawling my eyes out. :(

Ditto on the following movies:

Steel Magnolias, Beaches, Titanic & A Walk To Remember. No matter how many times I've seen these movies I always bawl my eyes out.

Totally with you on Nemesis, I know which part you are talking about and I cried like a big old baby. LOL.

Definately agree about the disney movies.

Hmm other movies that make me cry...

Black Hawk Down (mainly because the music composed by Hans Zimmer is amazing!)

LOTR:ROTK-I will admit that I cry at the end when Arwen shows up. Even now, when I know she's gonna show up. I again also blame it on the score. The score is beautiful.

GI Jane- (I know you guys are thinkg WTF), but at the end when he gives her the navy cross, I cry. :D

Pirates:DMC- the end when Jack dies. Again I blame it on Hans Zimmers score.

For me the music can make or break a scene. If the scene is good but the music adds an element, it just becomes more powerful. It's really the music that makes me cry because it adds to the scene that is just so amazing in the first place.

I'm not sure if that makes any sense, but oh well :D

Perfect sense. I cried at 3 diff. parts of Dreamgirls, EVERY time I saw it (something in the ballpark of 5). Not for the movie, WHICH WAS STILL EXCELLENT, but for the music. Several pieces from the movie just...it sounds cheesy, but the music can just caress your soul in such a way that you're drawn in...and it becomes a duet.:D

Yep. I actually cried a little when Jennifer Hudson sang And I Am Telling You...it was that powerful, and such a sad song. I don't think I've ever cried while watching a musical performance.

I have to add the remake of The Parent Trap with Lindsey Lohan. I get a little misty-eyed when Hallie, who is pretending to be Annie, see's her mom for the first time. The other time I get misty eyed is when Jessie, figures out that Annie, who is pretending to be Hallie, is Annie and starts to cry. It's sweet.

Almost forgot, when the girls are at camp and figure out they are sisters/twins

Man, I was listening to that on my mp3 player and cried like a baby in the middle of the Honda dealership. I think it was hormones or something.

Yeah, I got a little choked up when she sees her and runs into her arms. I didn't cry but who couldn't be touched when everything goes all slow motion-y?
