I'm sorry, I can't read your posts until you identify whether or not it is an opinion.

Oh, I'm lovin' this.

"The fact is I am guilty of sexual immorality. And I take responsibility for the entire problem."

Haggard is taking responsibility? What the hell is that supposed to mean? Oh this...

"Neither Haggard nor his wife, Gayle, attended."

Gee, I wonder what he's afraid of? Freaking coward.

The fact is, I've engaged in a lot more "immoral" acts than he has, but I don't apologize (why the hell should I?) and I certainly don't take responsibility (because it's absolutely meaningless). I don't even believe in god (first I have to decide whether gravity pulls or pushes). I've smoked tons of pot and drank gallons of scotch.

And yet, somehow, I'm a very good person.

Most of us are good people. Remember that.

True - you may have engaged in immoral acts (don't see how drinking scotch or smoking pot is immoral myself...) but you are a raging hypocrite about it are you? For example I don't recall you preaching to the masses about the evils of pot or scotch, or lobbying the president about the godless drinkers of scotch and smokers of pot, nor setting yourself up as a beacon of the community opposed to such godless practices...

So an admission or revelation that you are a drinker of scotch and smoker of pot isn't really that big of a deal... well unless you've been drinking low quality scotch - then I name you Heathen. :p

to unveil the mystery of gravity...magnets...it pushes or pulls depending on the mass of the objects in questions, it pushes for the smaller one, and pulls for the larger, i think

Peaches, I don't really know actually. Evangelical Christians generally means those who support converting others to Christianity, the idea of salvation, etc.
Now, in reality, the confusion comes in with the changing word "fundamentalist" which now has a negative connotation in many senses. Thus people think that the Westboro Baptist Church or whatever it is is how Baptist churches are. Most evangelical Christians have strong views about right and wrong, but they aren't going "you're going to hell for being gay". We think all sin gets you to hell without Christ, be it having a gay affair or stealing a candy bar. Most don't want to condemn, they want you to find what they've found. Of course, this is my version, but its also based on a lifetime within Baptist/Methodist churches. It just so happens that the harshest and most hypocritical evangelical Christians often tend to be the loudest.
