They told me I was invited to the house whenever I wanted to come...lunch, dinner, to study.
This is just heartwarming. It can change college so much to have that home where you know you are always welcome, whether it's a physical building or not. It means a lot when you never have to ask whether you can join in -- you simply know that there's a spot with your name on it, always.

I know, it's cool to know I don't have to go home and sit and wait alone until my roommate gets out of class. I can go hang out with these amazing girls :)

Am I missing something here? It seems like all of the posts have been positive, haven't they?

Miss Moderator deleted mine and valkyrie's posts questioning the validity of the events that transpired during her rush.

If it gets deleted, fine. Good thing there are other avenues to discuss similar topics. :)

I'm confused as to which part of my rush could even be taken as a lie or exaggeration. I didn't say they showered me with roses and threw me a party. I said they took me into a room and handed me a bid. How outlandish is that?

I sent you a PM.

I'd rather not discuss it here because Miss Moderator will get mad if I don't "PLAY NICE". :)

Good for you Christi! Don't let anyone spoil your special memories and welcome into Phi Mu.

I know I'm a little late, but congrats!

Hi Christi:

Thanks for sharing your story about your bid night. I love hearing happy endings like yours! Enjoy your new member period-- it's going to be such a fun time for you.

You don't have to explain or justify your story to anyone. Just be happy in your new life with Phi!

Congrats!!!!

And because there are other avenues, there was no reason to post your thoughts here, in the first place. Your comment was unecessary and didn't add to the discussion in a positive manner.

I only enforce the TOS, I don't get mad.

I tried to send you a PM, but your box is full.

I was wondering the same thing...

Anywho... I am not too surprised that Christi's recruitment process went the way it did.

She is a legacy to Phi Mu.

They are COBing.

If I was advising a chapter that was COBing and a legacy came through, as interested as Christi was.... I would strongly advise them to give her pref treatment. You are COBing, because you have slots to fill. I would rather fill them with not only someone intrested in my chapter, but someone with the built-in, vested interested, i.e. family/tradition. **Note: This of course is if the PNM meets/exceeds the standards set forth by the chapter/HQ.**

Congrats Christi...
