Mmm...Cedric Diggory was yummy, but you know, I was all about the Durmstrang boys. They seemed so dark and manly somehow...nummy nummy.

I saw it twice on IMAX... the world cup scene is especially impressive on IMAX.

Victor Krum is hot. And thats all I've got to say about that.

I need to see it again in IMAX. My brother and his friends suck at making the LIRR into MSG. So we were late for the movie and had to sit in the front row. Horrible.

I saw it in IMAX and enjoyed the movie...I do have a few pet peeves and this is one of them....in POA (movie) they put the Patil twins in Gryffindor...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and they continue it in GOF movie.....and in they are identical, but in the movie they are paternal, unless I need glasses. Padma is in Ravenclaw and Parvati is Gryffindor.

My other pet peeve is that I am glad that they included Rita Skeeter in the movie, but they just left that hanging and didn't include her "ending" in the book...:sigh:

Oh the....the big thing that irked the hell out of me...Barty Crouch Jr. was not in the house at the beginning of the movie....I understand why they did it, an easy way to introduce the character.....but still.

Also making Drumstang all boys and Beauxbatons all girls, I didn't get that from the book.

As a sidenote: Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Stanislav Ianevski (Viktor) and Joshua Herdman (Goyle) are turning out to be major cuties :D

I never noticed the Patil twins in the POA movie - guess I need to go back and rewatch that one! :o I agree with you about Rita and Barty, too :)

I just got done rereading GoF yesterday, and there were a lot of things that just rose the hackles - not to say it wasn't a great movie, just not what I was expecting. Maybe I'll go see it again next week or something :p

As much as it bugged me that things were left out, at least we can be comforted with the knowledge that JK had to give final approval for the script. So she had to okay the stuff they left out.

Personally, I'm more annoyed with the fact that the Mauraders Map still hasn't be discussed (ie. who made it) and that Harry's Patronus is a Stag.

My friend, who hasn't read any of the books, actually asked about those two things, and I readily explained but seriously, they should be at least explained in the movies.

Yeah, this is by far my new favorite movie, but I yelled "THAT DID NOT HAPPEN IN THE BOOK" about 5,000 times. I took my best friend and my cousin to see it (at 2 separate times) and both of them said that even though they hadn't read the books, they could tell there was a lot of stuff missing.

I had to do the same thing with my husband!! While POA was my favorite book POA the movie was my least favorite out of all of them. I thought they left out alot more important info in that movie then GoF. Hopefully in the OoTP movie they will explain the Mauraders map and the reason Harry's Patronus was a Stag because Sirus comes back.
