Thanks, moe.ron! That'd be freaking awesome! I can get some of my dad's friends to come and chip in and it'd be fun!
|
Ya'll the Rolling Stones concert in Charlotte, NC is sold out. It sold out on the first day tickets were available at the Arena. The representative said you had to be there to get the tickets. Argh! There was never anything in any of the area papers about it! My mom searches for that kind of stuff because she loves concerts!
|
FWIW, if you're really into concerts, get to know the people at your favorite venues - seriously!! I went a few years when all I had to do was get a floor ticket, and a buddy would move me into the first row! Plus, the venue people really know what's going on!
Also, watch the papers for the scalpers. That's who's buying a LOT of the tickets. Many of them are willing to deal with you (and that's how I got rid of an old stereo!). |
Since my last post:
Built to Spill, White Stripes, The Features, VHS or Beta, Aimee Ray, Beans, Holy Fuck, Moving Units, Nine Inch Nails (UNBELIEVEABLE!!!) OAR and getting ready to go see one of my favorites BELLE & SEBASTIAN!!! (it's going to be amazing) |
Pas/Cal
Depeche Mode Of Montreal Ima Robot The Get-up Kids Saves The Day Marilyn Manson Our Lady Peace The Sounds Bloc Party OAR Sleater-Kinney Sponge The Fiery Furnaces And a lot of other bands nobody has heard of. **I'm picking up tickets to see Yeah Yeah Yeah's next month. |
