Yes, this is truly said. I have gone to several Luther concerts over the years. That man can truly blow. I was at one of his last concerts the year of his stroke. My hubby and I danced to Luther for our first song at our wedding reception. This man had true talent and he'll surely be missed.

I'm watching B.E.T. right now and taping the Luther special. It's an interview of him talking about his career. He sang jingles, was on Sesame Street sang back up for Roberta Flack, Bette Middler etc. This is truly a sad day.

Also today there was another loss in the world of music. Renaldo "Obie" Benson of The Four Tops passed. http://www.freep.com/news/statewire/...5_20050701.htm

I did shed a tear for Luther.

I don't remember seeing it posted, but Ronald Winans of the Winans passed away last week. He was the "bigger" brother.

I liked The Four Tops...I'm sad to hear about this as well.

I'm still in a state of shocking since hearing of Luther's passing on Friday. I know his mother is really going through something right about now to have out lived all of her children.....the world has lost a great one.

Has anyone heard that Beyonce is pregnant??? I heard the concert was canceled here in Nashville because of it. Someone please let me know. I sure hope not, cause I spent $73 on the tickets!!

I don't know about that... She performed two concerts in one day on Saturday (Live 8 and Essence). That was pretty strenuous, so
I doubt pregancy is the reason that the Nashville concert was cancelled.

However, if she is preganant, CONGRATS to her and Jay!
