University of Alabama, Birmingham
Alpha Gamma Delta
Alpha Omicron Pi
Alpha Xi Delta

Samford University
Alpha Delta Pi
Alpha Omicron Pi
Chi Omega
Phi Mu
Zeta Tau Alpha

**This should knock out DG (only chapter founded at the school).
** AXO and KD, there is not a chapter in Birmingham.

My guess is Phi Mu...

Either way, trojangel.. Congratulations.

Interestingly enough, while Phi Mu encourages initiation through collegiate chapters, when there is not a collegiate chapter nearby, alumnae chapters may perform the initiation themselves. We have a traveling "trunk" of ritual paraphenalia.

Does AXO have the same? Also doesn't mean she can't travel to the school with the chapter of her choice as well...

Okay...you guys are better than I thought..and I also found a few things I didn't know!

Clue #3
My Trojan history as it may be,
My college life was not at USC
A blast from my past, one might see
where I could possbly be.

Birmingham Southern College is in Birmingham AL-we(AXO) have a very strong chapter there.

WCUgirl 04-02-2005 12:55 AM

OH! OH! OH! I KNOW THIS!

I'm guessing Phi Mu! :D

Angels&Arrows 04-02-2005 01:21 AM

I soo cannot believe I forgot Birmingham Southern, thank you for the reminder!

Well, that adds KD back into the mix.

honeychile 04-02-2005 01:22 AM

aggieAXO 04-02-2005 01:32 AM

in another thread she mentioned she was just a few hours from her Alma Mater

Angels&Arrows 04-02-2005 01:40 AM

She went to Troy State University. She has mentioned it several times since joining GC. She also works with many Phi Mu's and has posted in the ADPi forum multiple times.

Then we're fairly certain it's Phi Mu (unless I miss my guess and somehow, it's ADPi!)!!!

ASUADPi 04-02-2005 01:59 AM

Hey, either way we are "fairly" certain that she is a Macon Magnolia and that makes me happy!!!!!!!!! :)

adpi*violet 04-02-2005 03:47 AM

I say Phi Mu too. Another Macon Magnolia AI! Hooray!
Trojangal- when will you tell us the truth?

lake 04-02-2005 03:58 AM

I still say it's Kappa Delta. First because of the three stars on the pledge pin, and second because where it was founded.

Founded at Virginia State Teacher's College:
Kappa Delta
Sigma Sigma Sigma

Founded at Virginia State Normal College:
Zeta Tau Alpha
Alpha Sigma Alpha

The names of these colleges may have changed, but this is what an old NPC document I have refers to them as. They may now be referred to as the "Farmhouse Four" or whatever, but according to the NPC materials I have, this is what the colleges were called when they were founded.

ms_gwyn 04-02-2005 04:38 AM

Kappa Delta:
Founded
October 23, 1897 at State Female Normal School (now Longwood University), Farmville, Virginia

Sigma Sigma SIgma
Founded
April 20, 1898 at State Female Normal School (now Longwood University), Farmville, Virginia

Zeta Tau Alpha was founded October 15, 1898, by nine women at the State Female Normal School (now Longwood University) in Farmville, Virginia.

Alpha Sigma Alpha
The State Female Normal School, now Longwood University, in Farmville, Va. On November 15, 1901, a new sorority was organized and named Alpha Sigma Alpha.

All taken from the official websites....Longwood University has gone through many name changes
