OPhiARen3, what does this class cover?
It's a research group. The Georgia Tech Library has one of the largest archives of science fiction works in the country (figures ...), and so to publicize it and make it more accessible, student researchers get class credit or undergrad research grants to work on this website: www.sf.lcc.gatech.edu (it's being redone and is kind of hard to navigate at the moment), which discusses the collection according to different topics in SF. I've got a page on the site from last Spring dealing with racial issues in American science fiction, and this semester I'm working on two projects - 1) reproduction in science fiction, and 2) representations and implications of the sex act in science fiction. We've also put on a couple of conferences related to SF/fantasy at Tech.

Sorry for the rambling, you've unwittingly gotten an academic off on the subject of her current research ... :p

It made me sad but I didn't let that get me down. I'm trying to join a frat but unfortunatly I don't think most will let me in because I guess girls don't like me. What should I do?
Kill yourself on the front porch of his fraternity during the social. They'll feel real sorry and bad as they cut you down.

That wasn't a very nice post. The PKA fraternity men at my school say stuff like that sometimes when I try to get into their awesome fraternity mixer social parties too. All I want to do is join a fraternity, I came here to maybe get some advice and all I get is someone who tells me to kill myself. I don't like it when you do that becuase it hurts my feelings and makes me feel unimportant.

Forgive me for being non-pc. This white guy said he was in a fraternity, but he didn't say which. I assume it was an IFC one.
