Really. I have heard of them being placed in a mausoleum, but not buried.

Did they get some sort of tip that she had the ashes? I mean, this happened ten years ago. What made them just now worry about him being missing?

Teacher Jailed After Fistfight With Pupil's Mother
Parent Ends Up in Emergency Room

MACON, Ga. (Oct. 22) - A teacher-parent brawl in front of 19 fourth-
grade pupils sent a mother to the emergency room and the teacher to
jail.

Teacher Katrina Ann Rucker, 30, is charged with battery and cruelty
to children for allegedly beating a parent who tried to retrieve her
daughter's book bag.

According to police interviews, parent Lurella Amica went to Bruce-
Weir Elementary School Thursday morning to deliver a note to her 9-
year-old daughter.

At the classroom door, the girl told her mother that Rucker had
thrown her bag in the trash can, the report stated. Amica entered
the classroom and tried to get the book bag, but Rucker grabbed for
it and the two struggled, the report said.

After Amica wrestled the bag away, police say Rucker picked up a
chair and hit her in the back, knocking Amica to the floor. Rucker
then began punching Amica in the face and body.

During the fight, the girl was reportedly crying for her teacher to
stop hitting her mother and ran up to them. Rucker then allegedly
hit the child, pulled her hair and pushed her out of the way before
starting to strike the mother again.

Rucker dragged Amica by the hair outside the classroom, according to
the report.

"A school administrator and another teacher had to pull the teacher
off the mother," Macon police spokeswoman Melanie Hofmann said.

In Rucker's account of the story, she said Amica hit her hand during
the initial struggle, Hofmann said.

"The teacher said she was defending herself because she gets a shot
in that hand and it hurt," Hofmann said.

Amica was in stable condition in the emergency room of The Medical
Center of Central Georgia late Thursday night.

Rucker was placed on administrative leave.

Sylvia McGee, Bibb County's deputy superintendent, said school staff
called the parent or guardian of each child in the class. Social
workers counseled students, and only Amica's daughter left school
early.

Principal Karen Konke sent letters to parents about the incident.

"Let me assure you the school is safe and that our students have
been involved in appropriate instructional activities throughout the
day," Konke wrote.

There are only a handful of explanations for this incident:

1. The teacher was having a REALLY BAD day and this was the thing that made her snap (not that it makes it right to beat down a mother and her daughter),

2. The teacher and the mom have a "history," meaning they may have some sort of old beef from the club, high school, man drama, etc., or

3. The broad is just crazy!!

The mom and the teacher probably have the same baby's daddy.

Colo. Teacher Kicks Student for GOP Shirt

DURANGO, Colo. - A part-time college instructor has apologized for kicking a student because he was wearing a Republican shirt.

Fort Lewis College student Mark O'Donnell said he was showing people his College Republicans sweat shirt, which said "Work for us now ... or work for us later," when Maria Spero kicked him in the leg at an off-campus restaurant.

Spero then said "she should have kicked me harder and higher," said O'Donnell. "To physically take that out on someone because you disagree with them, that is completely wrong."

There had to have been some history there. A backpack in the garbage wouldn't make a teacher give a beat down like that. I agree with Soror Skee that they have the same baby daddy. But I'll elaborate and say that the teacher was mad because the baby daddy bought this girl a backpack and hasn't gotten lil' Ray Ray anything for back-to-school.

'Come Bite Me!' Right...

Wed Nov 3, 8:16 AM ET Oddly Enough - Reuters

TAIPEI (Reuters) - A man leaped into a lion's den at the Taipei Zoo on Wednesday to try to convert the king of beasts to Christianity, but was bitten in the leg for his efforts.

"Jesus will save you!" the 46-year-old man shouted at two African lions lounging under a tree a few meters away.

"Come bite me!" he said with both hands raised, television footage showed.

One of the lions, a large male with a shaggy mane, bit the man in his right leg before zoo workers drove it off with water hoses and tranquilizer guns.

Newspapers said that the lions had been fed earlier in the day, otherwise the man might have been more seriously hurt ... or worse.
