hate bringing this back up, but I thought he went to Iowa?

Are you maybe thinking of recent Olympic Gold Medalist Cael Sanderson? He is an alum of Iowa State.

Rick Smits
He's on an NBA team, dunno which one though. I think it's Indiana. I really don't follow sports that much...

Famous Adelphi alums:

Gary Dellabate (sp?) AKA Baba Bouie
Chuck D from Public Enemy
Jonathan Larson - wrote the Broadway musical Rent
Olympians Bob Beamon & Portia Lack
Broadcaster Al Trautwig

Al Davis, the president of the Oakland Raiders, was a coach at Adelphi

And I heard that Dr. Ruth was a teacher at Adelphi. Guess what she taught. I'm not sure if it's true though.

He went to Clarion and his nephew Mark Angle was an All American there also. In 1974 Clarion had 3 individual national champions in westling.

Stetson University (I can only think of 2):
Lenny DiNardo - pitcher for the Red Sox (not on the active roster)
Chipper Jones - 3rd baseman for the Atlanta Braves...also a townie

Stetson's a baseball school so anyone famous from Stetson probably plays baseball. :D

I don't dispute that Kurt Angle or any of his relatives went to Clarion. I was questioning if perhaps that poster was instead thinking of 4-time NCAA champion with an unprecedented 159-0 collegiate record and recent Olympic gold medalist, Cael Sanderson, who is indeed an alumnus of Iowa State University.

My bad, people on TV always talk about Iowa but thanks for clearing that up.
