You know what I would love to see? Fraternity men wear their letters on their butt! I've seen guys with words on the bottom of their pants and I'm all for equal rights, so let's see them do it! (Note: I am saying this half-sarcastically and only because I know many men whom do not see the problem with sorority women wearing their letters on their butt.)

Gotta agree with D on this one. Besides, this isn't an issue for me since it's been about 10 years since my butt was worthy of sporting my letters!

For me, it's not even an issue of taste or respect.

It just looks silly.

You know? Honestly this doesn't bother me. There are butt shorts with every other thing on them. Schools, sports teams, etc. I just can't get that worked up about it for some reason.

Thongs, for me, cross the border into the ridiculous. But butt shorts are OK.

i have a pair of pants that say Lambda on the butt, but its not the whole sorority name or anything it just simple says "Lambda"

NO LETTERS FACING BACKWARD!!!!! none on your back, your butt, if you have a hat on it better be facing FORWARD!!! and quit with the letters on your shoes, too... they get muddy, stepped on.... is that what you think of your GLO????

what about a hoodie sweatshirt with your letters on your back? or a backpack with a pin w/ your letters on it? wouldnt that technically be "backwards" too?

i think butt pants are ok i guess, but i wouldnt want shoes w/ your letters on the bottoms of them or a tissue with my letters. i also think glo thongs are not tasteful.

ok, so i came off a little strong there, but thats the way i was educated. but i simply believe that your letters are something you shouldn't put behind you. we don't wear our letters on our back/behind us at all. but thats something we do. and i agree with it, y'all don't have to, cuz if you feel that its tasteful, then do it. i just wouldn't put my letters behind me. and no, the thong letters aren't cute, either..... (i know you were playing :) )

LOL, I have letters on the back of my car, so they're behind me and backwards when I look in the rearview mirror. ;)
