Prefs Update
 

SeminoleDaughter called this morning with her first taste of disappointment. She received her invitations for prefs and was invited back to 4 of the 5 houses she visited for Skit Day. Unfortunately, the one house that cut her was the Nutter Butters which had pretty much been her top choice.

She's a little disappointed, but she really loves all the houses from yesterday so she was happy with her 3 choices for prefs. I think mostly she's just concerned now that she might not get a bid tomorrow.

Today she's seeing the Sausalitos, Oreos and Vanilla Cremes and would be thrilled to get a bid from any of them - let's hope they feel the same way about her! She starts at 2 and depending how the weather is today should be done by 8:30 so I'll update as soon as I hear from her.

SeminoleMom, it's happened to many of us... you get inexplicably cut from a house that you like when you think it's been going well.... and you get surprisingly asked back to a house that doesn't seem like a good fit.

And yet, somehow, you end up with the group that is a wonderful fit and you can hardly imagine it having ended up any other way.

I hope your daughter enjoys Prefs today and that things all come together for her. Thanks for keeping us posted! :)

If your daughter does not ISP it is unlikely that she'll wind up without a bid tomorrow.

Thanks for the vote of confidence - She definitely will not ISP. Even though she really loved the group that cut her, there wasn't a group she saw yesterday that she wouldn't be thrilled to be a part of.
