fleur de lis: The EZ house is getting a much needed make over

broken key: every time I turn a corner there is something else that has to be fixed!

Broken key: It is so expensive and is taking way longer than we anticipated

fleur de lis: the ladies will absolutely love their newly redecorated house and be totally blown away when they see it!!!;)

OOOH! That's so exciting! That house does really need a makeover, there's a lot of floral print going on... I always really liked the formal living room, it's pretty and we hardly ever used it, but the informal needed help, and the scary wallpaper in the dining room... yikes!

Haha... not my chapter, yet it kind of describes our house. It's very very pretty but has some funky patterns. And our dining room is infamous: there's a floral print wallpaper and the same print was used on the curtains, so when the curtains are drawn, the entire room looks like one giant box with no way out... :D

Fleur de lis: I got my first real job! yay!

MSKKG 08-08-2005 09:20 PM

Lots of fleur-de-lis things:

I've lost 9.8 lbs.!

My older son was awarded one of 14 $1,000 scholarships from the Columbia Swim League.

My younger son made All-Stars for Colt League baseball. They won the district without having to play any games (everyone else dropped out of the tourney)! They lost in the state tourney . . . BUT to the team that won it all.

Congrats to you and your sons, MSKKG!

Fleur-de-lis - I'm dating a new boy. I like him a lot. Things are going well, and I can't stop smiling.

Broken Key - I read "Pledged" this weekend, and it was awful. If I had read it before recruitment, I never ever would have joined a sorority. I hate Alexandra Robbins. Boo! :(

Fleur-de-lis:

- my sister just had a fabulous wedding
- i just visited my fiance's new house, which will be our house in about 10 months

and no broken keys! yay! :D

fleur-de-lis Beta Zeta had a fabulous Recruitment week taking quota of 27 wonderful women!

broken key I was feeling really, really crappy yesterday so I couldn't attend their bid day festivities. :(

imsohappythatiama 08-23-2005 09:40 AM

Yay for Beta Zeta! That chapter is one that is so close to my heart. I love to hear all of the wonderful things they are accomplishing (thanks in no small part to Kari's wonderful leadership and mentoring!!!).

Fleur de Lis: Beta Chi/Kentucky took quota of 52 wonderful women! Woo woo!!

KappaLadyK 08-23-2005 12:46 PM

Congratulations to Beta Zeta and Beta Chi! I can't wait to hear about UF and FSU. UF's bid day is today, and FSU's is on Saturday. This is all so exciting!!! Best of luck ladies!

Fleur-de-lis (inspired by ISUKappa and imsohappythatiama!): Theta chapter also made quota with 63 wonderful new members!! (And a big fleur-de-lis for panhellenic recruitment at Mizzou in general... all 13 chapters made quota for the first time in at least nine years... but they're also "hypothesizing" that it may have been the first time ever!)

Broken key: The internet at our chapter house doesn't work! Boo! :)

KoreanIvy1908 10-22-2005 04:01 AM

Good morning all!!!

Fleur-de-lis: My 11 year old son has been invited to travel with People to People to England and France during summer 2006 as a student ambassador.

Broken key: My allergies are killing me!!! (I don't turn red, no runny nose, but my eyes . . . oh they are so runny & swollen!)

MSKKG 11-11-2005 10:27 AM

Broken Key: My computer was down for about 4 days. I was going to have to have a technician come in and check it because my provider had done everything on their end and the problem seemed to be with my computer.

Fleur-de-lis: My younger son is taking Information Technologies at school. They made Ethernet cables, so he tried one of the ones he made on my computer. It worked!!!
