Pardon my crash, but was there another college near there with a Tri Delta chapter? Things were a little looser back then, maybe she went to H-S and pledged a chapter at another school.
|
Hardin-Simmons has never had nationals, only locals. There was a local group called "Delta" that was active during that period. As is often the case, maybe they were Tri-Delt "wanna bes" and copied some of their traditions from the national organization.

Double check, but I think Phi Mu had a chapter at a Hardin College that was in Missouri and closed during the 1930s.

Thank you ladies for your research. I know that she genuinely thinks she is a tri delt, but I assume it was that delta chapter that was forementioned. I will just discreetly avoid talking with her further about it and definitely wont be putting it on my daughter's resume' for next fall.

University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.
If accepted, this would be a return for Tri Delta. The chapter closed in 1996. This was our Phi Zeta chapter.

I noticed a while back I misspelled Puget Sound... Why can't I edit it??
Tri Delta is presenting at the University of Maine this week. Look out for updates on Facebook later this week and show the presenters some Delta Love!<3 https://www.facebook.com/TriDeltaEO |
University of Maine
Thank you, nydolphin, for the news. Alpha Kappa chapter closed in 2001 after being at Maine for 84 years. Let us hope we hear good news Alpha Kappa will be recolonized.

North Dakota State University
Tri Delta will present at NDSU on Feb 11!
https://www.facebook.com/TriDeltaEO/...type=3&theater We should hear from the University of Puget Sound and the University of Maine this month! |
Interesting! NDSU is sort of in the middle between UND and the U of MN in the Twin Cities. Minnesota's chapter closed in 2004 and UND closed in 2006.
Does anyone know who else is presenting at NDSU? |
