Seriously... I mean the 5th book was intense enough with Sirius dying (and everything else that happened.) But to kill off the main character? Wow. If Harry does pass, I commend her for not writing the traditional "happy, fluffy bunny" children's book series, but even knowing the ending, I think the outcome will still shock me.

Anxiously awaiting the 6th and currently re-reading the 3rd.

Darn you chideltjen, I haven't read the fifth book yet. LOL.

When I was in Glen Coe, Scotland last year, our bus had to stop for about 10 minutes because of the POA filming. I was lucky to be able to see some choppers, as well as cameras and all film people gathering around one of the loch, filming. My friend swore that he saw Daniel Radcliff walking by one of the trailer they had.

Now I am excited to see which part it was in the movie, as I can relate myself with the surrounding area :)

Can June 4th come faster? :confused:

Nothing against any group, but I wish our AMC theater had the children-free shows.

I would rather enjoying the movie than get crossed by noises such as children crying, baby squeaking and such, even though perhaps HP movies are all ages movies.

Anyway, still very excited about POA.

About this Harry dying thing, Daniel Radcliff said that he could see it happening. That's all. There is no big annoucement that this is actually happening. If you ever hear anything and aren't sure, just go to the Leaky Cauldron. They have a great relationship with WB and JKR's people, so they check all the rumors out. This one is definitely *not* true.

Tigerlilly, how are you getting to go a day early? Did you win tickets? I'm stuck going Friday afternoon, I'm working at 7am that morning and don't think I can stay up for the line party Thursday night. I don't have a costume though, so maybe that's a good thing. :)

I always take children to see the movie, but I understand wanting a children-free show...they are noisy.

However, when I went to see the first movie, the parents were my problem. Two parents almost came to blows. One complained about a child crying. The other retorted that this is a kid's movie and she needs to get a grip. They proceeded to go back and forth. One finally threatening to jump over the seat and kick the other's arse. Can you say scared? I could not believe that they were behaving that way in front of all of those children.

could the rumor of harry dying be more on the lines of him dying in a book then somehow coming back to life at the end of the book? this would put much of the story line on the other characters, or something to that extent.

My friend is actually going to still be in Germany when it is released (part of a college trip) but I made her SWORE she won't see it until she comes back to America. She was also nervous that it was going to be in German (like they dubbed the voices, instead of German subtitles). Do you know how it is going to be done?

Just got off the phone with my friend who is going to buy tickets for a group of us to go on Fri. I've seen the other two on opening day as well. I'm re-reading POA now because it's been a while and I need to refresh my memory.

Still in the processof convincing my grandma to go with me....I probably won't see it for another couple of weeks, because I'm sure by now a lot of the theaters have already pre-sold many of the showings and I wouldn't get in to see it until sometime in the next few weeks, anyways :(

In most cases in Italy, it will be dubbed into Italian (and same rules for Germany and France). But more German actually speak English than Italian, so they might just have the subtitle. It should be mentioned on the advertisement/theater billboard whether it is dubbed or in English.

In Berlin, we were trapped into the German speaking IMAX theater in Potsdamer Platz, it sucks. I wish I spoke German.

my parents are coming up saturday to go with me to look at some apartments and my dad just called and told me he bought tickets to see this at the IMAX theatre saturday night. i'm sooooooooooo excited!!!!
