Idaho isn't the "Potato State" anyway, it is the "Gem State", full of garnets. However if you moved to Idaho, you could rock this on your car: http://www.idahohistory.net/license/potatoesth.jpg That reminds me, it is time for lunch. I find the over use of "like" to be tasteless and tacky in speech. |
Abusing the word "like" and "y'know" by using it as filler for conversation.
Like, it sounds so ignorant, y'know, coming like from college-educated people! |

That's how Michael Jackson got in trouble for the "Jew me sue me" lyric years ago. I hate it when people say "gyp" as in "don't gyp me." Yes, yes, I have encountered Gypsies before and am also aware of the lifestyle stereotype. I still hate it when people say that. |

I HATE it when people announce that they have to piss or pee - I find it particularly offensive when other women say it. Must just be the context, because someone saying they're "pissed off" doesn't bother me nearly as much.

"I seen" (I have stopped dating men who used this term, it drives me crazy!)
"flustrated" (just like supposably) I don't get the term "AnyHoo" either. It irritates me. |
