A lot of people use "Jew" to describe people who are selfish or stingy...or even imply it by the POSSIBILITY of a lie...

I hate it when people say "gyp" as in "don't gyp me." Yes, yes, I have encountered Gypsies before and am also aware of the lifestyle stereotype. I still hate it when people say that.

I HATE it when people announce that they have to piss or pee - I find it particularly offensive when other women say it. Must just be the context, because someone saying they're "pissed off" doesn't bother me nearly as much.

This is one of my pet peeves. But, it does bring back funny memories of the Friends episode where Joey thinks that it is a real word.

Yes! I think that was the one where Chandler worries that he spends more time on dates figuring out what's wrong with his dates rather than enjoying them. I can't remember the exact line, but he said something like, "What if I already met the woman of my dreams but broke up with her because she pronounced it 'supposably'?" (love the very last scene of that show where he's on a date and he's thinking something along the lines of, "She's nice, funny, has pretty eyes, BIG HEAD BIG HEAD BIG HEAD!!!" )
