Ok, I have a few more:

My boyfriend once said, "You're pretty logical for a woman." Uhm...ok.....I didn't know if I should be offended or complimented.

Though, my favourite of the strangest compliments I've ever received was from a guy on my university archery team. Alan is from Austria, is a former Austrian army solider and is a currently licensed bounty hunter (yeah, for real). Alan's gold-medal winning compliment was:

"You'd make a good silent assassin."

.....Kelly :)

In response to my new much shorter haircut..."It makes you look older."

The strangest for me came when I was about 12 years old. I was with a schoolfriend (African American) of mine and we were dancing. All of the sudden she said "You're black!" I was like...what??? It turned out she liked that I was keeping up with her dance moves and considered me a kindred. Odd way to say it though, I think.

" I love it when girls can do squats correctly" = from a guy at the gym.

ahaha, here's another one...

"I didn't know pretty girls wore insulin pumps"- from a guy at a regatta...he was kinda cute too.

My own mother told me that I had hips that were built to give birth.

One of my students (5th grade) told me that I was his 3rd (not 1st or 2nd...but 3rd) favorite teacher...I was like...is that a compliment? And he said, "well...really, you are my 3rd favorite THING." I was really confused then...but he added more, "you are my third favorite thing because my parents are my favorite teacher and thing; books are my second favorite teacher and thing; and then you are third."

Coming in third to parents and books is A-OKAY in my book! He kept me smiling for the rest of the day. :D :D :D

heard a few days ago from one of my students:
"No, really, I like your class. It's the only one I have to stay awake in every day, or I'd get an even worse grade."

My drunk friend once told me I look like Hilary Duff. Those of you who have seen pictures of me know that I look, uh, nothing like Hilary Duff.

I have been told "You give good phone." I think that's the same thing, because a producer friend of mine wants me to do a voice over in his next movie (cross fingers that it's bought!).
