Me too -- but it wasn't water...more like a mouth full of THIN MINT GIRL SCOUT COOKIES (yes, seriously!)

I am also being a responsible parent - I am "polishing" my son (18 months) by feeding him Girl Scout cookies :D

I just don't know. Maybe it wasn't a good enough Catholic school because we had classes with boys and our uniforms weren't mandatory?
Oh - were these the same boys that your parents will choose for you to marry in the arranged marriage?? ;)

No uniforms?? How can you be polished in a Catholic school that doesn't require uniforms? As Judge Joe Brown says -- that's just poor upbringing :p

They weren't mandatory due to the fact that some students "couldn't afford them" which was poppycock since everybody I knew who went there was loaded.

And there was only ONE BOY in my class the first four years. That explains everything about my behavior towards men.

AGHAST -- then HOW could their parents afford children?? They should have been sent immediately to a new family that could provide polish for them! ;)

Crap - its noon, and I'm still in PJ's ... better go be productive or something!

Rudey, you're making some bucks now. Why don't you become that little girl's foster parent. You can afford to buy her polish.

People spontanously recover from nearly always terminal diseases also . . It doesn't mean i want one.

If rags to riches were anywhere near common the stories wouldn't stand out.

JKRowling was on welfare when she started writing Harry Potter. I will trade bank accounts with her anyday.

Sure it does not happen that a child grows to be a billionaire very often...but it has happened.
