HC I'm like yeah, sure endanger the EMT's life for your toothache...good thinking buddy? :rolleyes: HC out of the 5 people that were supposed to be relief this morning for me, 4 of them called out? HC I was at work until almost 9am? HC my manager called and said, "Well, it's kinda a good thing, you don't need to be out on those roads going home anyway"? HC you let me be the judge of that aight? :rolleyes: HC I paged the supervisor and got her out of her bed to come help? HC I was soooooo incredibly busy? HC we had like 4 carwrecks come in already before I left? HC my car was iced shut? HC I went to get gas and it wouldn't open? HC I'm trying to convince my auntie to call in to work today 'cause I don't feel like taking her and she's scared to drive? HC my supervisor just called me...I started not to answer the phone because I was trying to get my nap on? HC she said that since the weather is so bad, and expected to get worse, she knows that it will be nasty when 11pm rolls around for me to come it? HC she said that since I am an "essential employee" :rolleyes:, that the hospital is putting "essential" employees up in the COURTYARD MARRIOTT near our hospital? HC she said that I could come pick up my key so that I could stay there today and not have to worry about driving in to work? HC any other time I am a little peon, but now I'm an "essential employee"? HC butttt ummm...I'm about to log off so I can go play in my luxury all paid for hotel room? :D |
