Me By Nature 06-20-2000 10:39 AM

OK Ladies, I had to jump in here! I didn't hear anyone mention Dr. Scholl Shoes! I had a pair in just about every color they had!
Did anyone give themselves breakdancers names? I was Crazy K and my sister was Special K! What about playing house with someone famous as your husband. I was married to the Fonz (Happy Days), Ronnie Devoe, and just about anyone else who my sister didn't choose first!

AKAtude 06-20-2000 10:42 AM

Don't talk to me about Dr. Scholl's or Agner shoes. My sister use to throw those shoes at me! The heel of those things hurt!!!!!

Serenity 06-20-2000 10:50 AM

HELLO! Did I not just see a pair of those in my Spiegel catalog!?! It's getting so all these things will be back in style! Although I will have to draw the line at jheri curls....that's just me. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

"Welcome, welcome to Rio, welcome, welcome to Rio..."

"Mouse trap, will snap, and grab you by the tail..."

Darn it. I can't think of anymore songs from that album!

tickledpink 06-20-2000 09:02 PM

Rooty Tooty --- I remember trying to "learn" the words to that commercial!!! **lol** And, speaking of big earrings, what about the Janet Jackson ("Control") phase --- Big hoops with the key on one side. I thought I was the bomb with my key earring and two-tones (AKAtude) http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif! And what about "The Jets" (remember the song You've Got It All Over Him) where all 50 members of the group were brothers and sisters? And then came ... Purple Rain (Poplife, have you mentioned Prince yet?) and Morris Day with "The Bird".

Taykimson 06-20-2000 09:59 PM

I don't know if it has been mentioned, but was I the only one that was in front of the TV every 2 hours on the hour to watch Michael Jackson's Thriller on MTV?
