No, I'm not singeling you out Blaine. But I do think that if you are a mod that you should take into consideration you aren't only representing yourself but also your fellow mods. It's the same as representing your chapter. And the chapter presidents that I have met are usually are really straight edged. They don't do some of the stupid stuff other members do because they know that they, above anyone else, represent their chapter more than anyone. I know your not a bad guy, but what about those who don't know you and see you going on and on like you did with decadence? Calling things like you see them isn't a bad thing, but UFpike did the same thing. I'm not comparing you to UFpike or any other trouble maker because you don't strike me personally as a trouble maker. But, sometimes it's better to hold your tongue rather than speaking your mind. If everyone spoke their mind on here there would be more people banned or more posts delted than what there currently are. That in turn brings me back to what I stated before, some people can speak their mind within a certain limit and not suffer the consequences that others are dealt.

ZTAngel I agree with much you've said....but I think it's important to recognize that this thread isn't an "us" vs. mods thing....i mean, part of it is to some people, but there's a whole other problem going on as far as respect and people not agreeing with the GC rules.

Let's face it, any time there are rules, someone is going to disagree or be pissed off b/c they're not how they would like it to be.

The issue I brought up was just the honesty thing....how can we expect to get along and have a working lil "community" or whatever the hell you want to call it, when there's so much bullshit and lies being spread? And some of that carries over into being against certain mods, b/c while they are more than entitled to express their opinion, get angry, be sarcastic/funny, in other words, human , they shouldn't be threatening banning and lying about who they are. That isn't fair.

But good sir, I do hold my tongue, I dont' always "speak my mind" in every instance. For the most part I do hold myself to a higher standard and I have been the person to put a stop to a quarrel a few times. I often post pretty decent topics and I have some pretty nice replies I think. That doesn't mean that I should act accordingly every second of my day.

Yes pike did speak his mind, he liked to call womein "bitches and tricks and the like."
I never have. I don't go around calling people 'Fu#*ing this and Fu#*ing that." and to be honest, the whole thing with decadence, I posted a picture, nothing more. I thought it was funny because to be honest he was getting annoying. He decided to call me an asshole, well, I didn't hold my tonuge, but I didn't continue to call him a "fu#8 this or fu#8 that."

Not everyone is going to be satisifed with GC. Some people like it the way it is and some don't. We can't make everyone happy.


And please don't compare me to UF Pike again, i'm nothing like he is/was.

Some people get banned and have posts deleted because they say things that shouldn't have been said. I know one of the times pike was banned, after it was a mass bulidup, he said "fat rice eating mouth" to a girl that was asian. Not called for.

I know you're a nice mod, ZTAngel. The mods on the so called "nice" list were just the ones off of the top of my head. Yet, you don't see them lashing out anymore. I think some mods as well as regular GC users, who in the past lashed out at people, have come to realize a few things that others have not and have since cleaned up their act.



I'm not posting anything else about moderators from here on out. The last thing I want is to be bashing the leaders of this site. The comments on the moderators were just a few things I had on my chest and I wanted to dump it all off. I know it sounds like I'm whining, but I feel like users need to know what some people are seeing these days in this forum. That is all.

I think it's great that you are expressing your opinions and bring stuff to our attention. But if they are so serious then I suggest talking with the person directly, or even John. Otherwise people don't know who you're referring to specifically and then there is speculation and drama.

To be honest, I'd consider things had I had the chance to know who you really are, but you couldn't even do that for us so I really can't take what you say with much weight.

I love how we have threads on GC saying that we don't like nonmembers wearing our letters or people who have deactivated. But it's ok for somebody on GC who you don't even know in real life most of the time, to take the letters that you cherish and call them their own? Cool. Real cool.
