I love the threads (as long as they are accurate).

I loved AZpink (sorry can't remember the rest of your login name, forgive me. :) ) It made me aware that there were some issues at my chapter of initiation, which actually propelled me into more active involvement with my alumna association. Yeah me.

I too am going though some serious rush thread withdrawl. Is it spring semester yet?

There are a couple of schools (I think IU is one of them) on the November/January split... round 1 in November, the rest of rush in January after fall grades come in. So we may start getting some new rush stories soon... (hope hope)

Hi, my name is Lyndsay and I'm a rush thread-aholic. I have to check at least three times a day to see who is going through and who got a bid from whom. Now it bites that we have to basically wait until next spring for more threads! What will I do without them?

I think we need a GreekChat Clinic, like a methadone clinic. We can all lounge about and talk about rush skits, videos, "the PNM who got away," "the PNM From Hell", and other quirks of greek life while getting manicures, pedicures & spa treatments!

Now, Honey, I'm ROTFL about picturing all of us at the clinic getting pampered as we discuss recruitment nonstop.

Hmm, I wonder when the next university to have recruitment starts.....start a countdown of days until that recruitment begins :D

Well let's see ... Stetson in Florida concludes today (Oct. 10). I know that both Purdue and Indiana Univ. have a split formal recruitment ... their first set is Nov. 15 - 16 and then they resume in Jan. before school starts.

I floated around the rush boards before, never got to involved, usually because I never had time to follow the "plot" lines of the rush stories fully. I was usually running around to class and sorority and doing field work for my major and pole vaulting.

Well now, I am hooked.

I'm missing my own formal rush, which I planned since October with Panhellenic. I am home (at my real home, not school) because I am sick with mono and some other stuff.

So now since I can't follow my own school's rush, I feel the need to follow everyone else's rush.

Sign me up for a GC Clinic as well.

I am the punn of every joke within my sorority...if anyone has a question the first response is.." Ask Kayla, she'll find it on greek chat.com" and of course most likely I can. Any sentence that I start out with "Ok let me tell you..." my sisters are like "On greekchat.com"...but I cant help it...i am in love with rush and look forward to getting new girls every semester!!!!

Ladies let me suggest either alcoholism or sex addiction . . lol . . at least in those cases you can control the pace of your addiction ;)
