hey !
CIFC was good - got to meet Kappaloo and see NeonPi again! I saw Cooper but we didn't meet or talk... I just wished I could've gone for the whole weekend - one day is just not enough time to chat to everyone :( Anyway, in the few hours I was there i made some great contacts! |
Hey.... you just had to say something.....
I thought you were siting at my table during the dinner...... |
I wish I could have gone. If I had known stupid boy was going to bail on me this weekend, I would have.
Anyway, I hope you all had a wonderful time. Hopefully I'll attend next year. Hey why not share some highlights from the weekend? |
I would have loved to see you there! We had 4 members plus me out - Pi Phi definitely stacked the meetings (although the DU's came out in some force too!). Next year is in Calgary and then I'm hoping we can bring it to Guelph.
Highlights? I defintely loved the seminar on public relations and what greeks can do to boost their pr. I think all Canadian greeks could learn a lot. I'm thinking of doing a seminar at UG for everyone before January recruitment, although timing is tight...how much would it be great to translate my PR work into a full time greek gig! Also it was great to have such a large groups of international officers from the U.S. come up. Just being around fellow greeks who were as passionate about being greek as I am was probably the best thing. |

highlights: hmm, some of it was exactly the same as last year, and i understand why, but it was a little dull for those parts. Randy's financial equation was pretty awesome (basically a way to answer that question "why should i pay for this") of course the NPC session was as helpful as last year - those women really know their stuff and they're so helpful! I guess that's about it, other than i may be helping out the college panhellenic on campus here (since i'm a neutral alum - my org doesn't have a chapter here). I'm just glad I got my sisters to go to it - i think they really enjoyed it, although i didn't talk to them much they seem to really be getting around and talking to everyone. |
Sounds like everyone had a good time and there was lots of interesting and useful information discussed.
I wish I would have attended. I better start saving for next year so I can get myself out to Calgary. |
AGD alumna from Tdot here!

As CC1GC mentioned way back i am a TKE from Ottawa, i goto Algonquin College.
I'm just wondering from all you WLU people if you have heard who made the shortlist for the fraternity expansion in fall? I am pretty sure my Intl put an package in. for all the Ottawa greeks (and anybody else who wants to make the trip) i am definetly down with having a meet and greet. |
Whoa! wait a min. here. WLU is/was open for expansion? for fraternities only or sororities too? i am very interested in knowing about this.
does anyone have any updates regarding this? thanks! |
