I managed to stay up and watch it. I thought it was ok! I am glad that is trying to be different from the movie. I think that Omat Gooding is a bit too young to be in the role but I rather see him in this than in another thugged out one.


It's positive, so I will support it, for now.

The white barber didn't seem genuine to me. Hmmm...not all that believable as an actor.

I was also surprised to see nudity and hear "p*ssy" and "d!ck" in the series. If the movie versions were pretty clean, why wouldn't they want to keep the series like that?

Omar Gooding is 26 or 27 (I think). O'shea Jackson is a few years older. I can see him in that role.

It was alright, I believe the Terry character was a little bit much. I was more interested in the show "Weeds" that came on afterwards!

According to www.imdb.com, Omar is 28. His b-day is October 19, 1976.

I was close. He was born 1 day before me (and a few years). lol

I caught some of the show, someone was snoring so I wasn't really able to focus on the show and really pay attention:rolleyes:, but it didn't look like I was missing a whole lot. I will give it a chance...

In Jet they were interviewing Omar and he has on a wedding band. Does anyone know if he is married, of if this was just the band he wears on the show?

I agree Terri was so over the top that it wasn't even funny.
