I've often heard Texas referd to as "The third coast."
I still like "Texas" better. |
lifesaver
have you seen those "Family Feud" car stickers? they have an A&M logo on one side and a Longhorn on the other? that can be the official emblem of the Texas wing. I think there's a website somewhere out there called TamUT made by some friends who go to A&M and Texas. The tag line is something like, "Brought together by a love of alcohol and the realization that Tech is not a real school". I find it kinda funny. Anyway, lifesaver, i'm with ya, you might even catch me throwin a Hook 'em if we're watchin the Horns play, ESPECIALLY if they're playing one of the flordia schools(you'll have to look pretty fast :D) I like the idea of naming the other wing, the "UnSigma Wing" or the "Concerns Wing" Kitso KS 361 REK songs we'll be singing along to in the Texas Wing |
I'm with librasoul and Cream. As wing designer, and an East Coast resident myself, I firmly declare that the name of our wing will have nothing to do with the left coast!
I like the region idea, especially as we all know Texas is its own region :) I do hope I'm still welcome to visit the Texas wing... that BBQ sounds a lot better than what passes for BBQ up here. In return, you are, of course, all welcome to drop by and partake of our "expensive arse alcohol, and DVD porn." :D |
There's nothing wrong with California. :) I have lived here all my life and I wouldn't change it. Cali is a diverse state. It's a huge melting pot. And I could say the same for the east coast about it not being good. It's just a matter of opinion.
I'm all for living in the Texas wing, I gotta expand my horizons :D |
Nothing wrong with California. Nothing wrong with Texas. Nothing wrong with the East Coast specifically NYC! :D I need the bright lights of this big city.
|
forget it all, none of you have ANYTHING on Wisconsin....
AND that is all that needs to be said...... |
uh, other than cheese what does wisconsin even have? :)

Well, while all of you cretins are winging it, I will ahve my own private wing! That is for more mature people, Me!
The Master Play Room is the size of a small Ball Room! 3 floors tall, the top is an out door social garden with a pool of estatic proportions and decarations, wet bar, see through glass from the indoor bar to the pool. The 3 rd flood is a banquet hall to fit all of the GC BRO/SIS for a sit down and dance room with a stage for the delightful intertainmet from a little country, Jazz, Blues, Rock ( Not Hard Metal Crap ), easy listening or any other selection that we may think of. 2 nd Floor is Toms, use your imagination, HE HE HE! 1 st Floor is for recieptions of state, cocktails, Hors de Voirs, or any just basic socializing! Basement, Ah Ha- Pool Room, Suana, Shuffle Board, Darts, ETC! Fully equiped bar of course. To the Rear is the Grounds, for Cook Outs, Tailgating, before watching our Favorite Teams on a room full of Huge Screens, that can be turned into a screening room with Kettle Korn from the popper. Nothing but the Premium Alchol, Beer, Wine, and Coors Lite! No Asphalt will be allowed to be seen!!!!!!!!!! There will be wings set off to the sides of the Main house, 1, 2, Bedrooms, all built in suites with all of the Super Basic needs for the High Tech part of The GCers! A tidal pool with sandy beaches, climately controlled, with a short livery ride to a man made ski area for those that wish to partake! Hope this will fit into the Grand Scheme of things! :D  |
There isn't anything wrong with PA either!! :D
|
What with the Texas wing, the Bright Lights, Big City wing (or whatever we're calling it now), and Tom's Mega Wing, I think we're running out of land! Surely there are zoning ordinances we should follow? I think blatant disregard of municipal laws is very un-Sigma-like behavior! Bad GCers, bad!

I think that we should build this GC house on a Hawaiian island. Aloha! :) |
