Hey Monica and Maria (I think thats you dolphin),
Its great to see you guys on the boards. I must say Iota Gamma is really representing themselves well on greekchat. Besides the Phi Sig Forum check out the General forums. I really like Greek Life, Rush (great way to learn about how formal rush works), Alumni, and Chit Chat. Carolyn |
Hi, this is my first post ever... hehe. I just want to give a big shot out to Linfield College, Delta Delta chapter, i'm a brand new member too, so I look forward to becoming as involved as you guys. :D

Chapter: Iota Alpha
School: Saginaw Valley State University Year initiated: Fall 2001 Status: Active Past/Current offices held: Past- Sisterhood/Song/Sunshine Chair, Panhellenic Rep, V.P. Panhel, MRC Present- Vice Archon, Panhellenic Rep-President of Panhel Favorite thing about Phi Sig: The fact that I couldn't imagine my life without it. I love how my sisters are my family away from home. I love how I have never met some ladies but based on the fact that we share the same letters, from a school 20 miles away or 2,000 miles away there is an automatic bond, of friendship, kindness, and warmth. |
All right here we go:
Chapter: Iota Gamma (has anyone told you we ROCK :D) Initiated: April 2002 Status: Active Positions held: Chair, Sapphire Ball Committee, MAL (twice). Thing I like about Phi Sig: I've met some women who I probably would not have been friends with. You see I'm an old lady - grad student, with a husband, #$&% years old - but I'm still fine  Phi Sig is keeping me young!!!;) |
word up on the west side

Burbank, CA Year initiated : 1999 Status: Active Past & Current offices : 2 years as the most bomb MOC/SDC, J-Board, Alumnae Favorite Thing about Phi Sig: Knowing that I can count on my sisters at the drop of a hat. Even if I haven't talked to them in months they're still enthusiastic about helping me and each other. |
Ok I suppose I've procrastinated long enough, time to add my name to the roll
Chapter: Theta Upsilon School: University of La Verne Initiated: Fall 1998 Status: Alum Past positions: Historian (1 yr), MRC assistant (2 yrs), MRC (1 yr), Sapphire Ball assistant, Greek Week chair, default Panhellenic Delegate Current position: Vision and Reflections Advisor for Iota Gamma, On-campus advisor for Theta Upsilon, Phi Sig rep to Long Beach APH Favorite thing about Phi Sig: Having met so many wonderful women that I would not have met otherwise and knowing that I have sisters everywhere. |
I guess I should do it too...
Chapter: Pi School: Syracuse University Status: Alum Past Positions: Bursar, Alumnae Chair Current Position: National Expansion Committee Favorite thing about Phi Sig: It's incredibly fulfilling to see Phi Sig growing as a national organization in so many ways - both numbers wise and experience wise. There are so many opportunities for leadership and so many ways to personally make a difference. |
Extension committee
HI there,
Not sure if you saw the thread or not but on the general forum Carnation put out a cry for help from anyone that has connections to the NPC's expansion teams. I pm'd her and told her you might have the connections she needs but you might want to check it out too. Are you going to LTS? So far Moosegirl, myself, and a couple other GCrs are going to meet up. I've sent them my cell phone number since I arrive Wednesday. Carolyn |
I *should* be there, but I'm not getting in until Thursday night. We should definetly meet up!
|
PS - where was Carnation's thread?
|
Carnations thread was in the Greek Life forum. Something along the lines of Help - sorority extension or something like that. Just look for a recent thread that she has started in Greek Life
