Well, found this on Amazon, so if you’re an AKA, you can wear a face mask with your sorority crest!

Oh, wait, AKAs have a choice of 2 designs!
https://www.amazon.com/Alpha-Kappa-S...as%2Caps%2C231

Also found masks with owls (XOs), fleur de lis (KKGs), anchors (DGs), arrows (PBPhis), kites (KATs), dolphins (DDDs), roses ... oh, I could go on but I won’t.

(I’ll be traveling and my mom suggested I wear a face mask on my flight, so I was browsing Amazon. Then, fell down a rabbit hole.)

Just told by HR that my office is now WFH. Any suggestion for Netflix? Wanted to started Ozark. For HBO, Succession seems to be a good show to watch.

All restaurants and bars in Illinois will be closed to dine-in customers as of tomorrow through March 30. Only delivery and drive-through services will be permitted.

Also, Indiana University will be going to online-only classes for the rest of the semester. Residence halls will close on March 20. (I’m guessing Greek houses will too, if they haven’t already.) Little 500 has been cancelled.

This is so surreal.

So my campus has officially shut. Was looking forward to greek week, formal, and the poor new member class might have to wait till next semester to get initiated! This is happening at a lot of schools for spring new member classes.

The Watchmen is bingeworthy, but prepare for disappointment as the showrunners abandoned it.

They obviously don't sing it like we do with "Roll Tide Roll" after the first and third lines!

The University of Minnesota cancelled graduation. Are there any other schools out there that have announced this?

SWTXBelle 03-16-2020 10:38 PM

Both of my sons' schools are closed. The middle school at which I teach is, but starting next week we'll have online instruction. Both colleges are closed, and transitioning to online classes (I teach online already for one.) I work at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, and they are closed.

My younger daughter is in San Francisco, and lost her job yesterday.

One of my favorite show, I say #3? 1. The Wire, 2. Breaking Bad and 3. The Watchmen.

So far I'm loving Succession.

Trying to keep a 4 years old occupied is a full time job.

Haha! Try 13. I will never forget Georgia's blizzard of '93. School was out for at least a week.

Oh, no -- where? I'm here in the Bay Area and we have been anticipating this, but I hadn't heard of any layoffs yet. This is an expensive place to be without income :(

It was a bizarre day at the courthouse. It smelled like a hospital and they had us get out of the elevator on the way up so a disinfectant team could board and wipe the whole thing down. We were packed in there like sardines, so I can't say whether that worked.

All court deadlines have been pushed 30 days. We're being encouraged to do videoconference appearances where possible.

I set up a conference call on Zoom.com today for my community orchestra's BOD--seriously nice program for virtual meetings, btw. If you need to set up meetings, it's pretty awesome--and free for 40 minutes or less and <100 participants.
