SNOOP DOGG says Death Row Records CEO SUGE KNIGHT took advantage of him for years and he rips him on his upcoming album "Paid Tha Cost To Be Da Boss" calling Suge "the devil." He also disses KURUPT and XZIBIT on the CD. The album will be released November 26th and features JAY-Z, REDMAN, NATE DOGG, THE NEPTUNES, and DJ PREMIER from GANG STARR. Snoop is now on the charts with the album "Snoop Dogg Presents…Doggy Style Allstars, Welcome To That House Volume One" which is number seventeen this week.

Redman and Method Man will star in an untitled comedy about the Army. The movie will be produced by Paramount Pictures and MTV Films. Redman's manager says the plot will involve the two rappers joining the military and getting sent on a special mission. Dustin Lee Abraham, who penned Red and Meth's college comedy "How High," will write the script for this flick. But Redman and Method Man have two more movies to make before the Army picture. They'll play up-and-coming rappers in "Ghetto, Inc." and – in a major twist of irony -- they'll appear as undercover DEA agents in another movie that's still being written.

The next K-Ci & JoJo album, titled "Emotional," will be released by
MCA Records on November 26th. The first single, a Rodney Jerkins-produced joint called "It's Me," is slated to hit radio on October 7th. The second single "This Very Moment" will appear on the soundtrack for the LL Cool J / Gabrielle Union movie "Deliver Us From Eva," which will hit theaters on February 2003.

Janet Jackson's gonna help `N Sync lead singer Justin Timberlake shed his squeaky-clean image. Justin recruited Janet to record a
seductive duet called "(And She Said) Take Me Now" for his upcoming solo album. Justin produced the vocal track for the song and he raved that Janet's voice "sounds like feather" and "an angel." But from what we hear, Janet's performance on the song sounds more lustful than angelic! Justin Timberlake's solo album, "Justified," will come out on November 12. In addition to Janet, the record features guest appearances by Stevie Wonder, Prince, Missy Elliott, the late Aaliyah and even Michael Jackson.

You never really believed that Britney Spears was a virgin, did you? Well, Britney's ex, Justin Timberlake, `fessed up to what we all suspected during an interview Tuesday on New York's Hot 97. Morning show host Star promised to spin Justin's new single, "Like I Love You," 30 times a week if Justin would tell if he and Britney had ever did the do. Justin tried to dodge the question for a while, but he finally said, "I did it. I'm dirty. I'm in so much damn trouble, man. I'm gonna get calls from my mother!"

BET and the Oxygen network will share production costs and broadcast rights to a new animated series called "Hey, Monie." The cartoon is about the fun and drama experienced by an unmarried black professional woman named Simone. In addition being about a black woman, "Hey, Monie" reportedly has several women on its production staff. The show will premier on both Oxygen and BET next Spring.

BET might be getting some direct competition soon. Alfred Liggins, the son and business partner of Radio One boss Cathy Hughes, reportedly has investors lined up for a new, black-oriented TV network.

also, earlier this afternoon, jennifer lopez was on the wendy williams show (nyc dj). she wanted to set the record straight and stated that she is a one woman man and all the rumors about her supposedly creeping w/ _______(insert man's name) while she was dating ___________(insert man's name) weren't true. her divorce from the dancer guy will be finalized later this year, so she and the actor guy will probably get married early next year.

......yeaaaah right!!!! For some reason I still believe that she cheated. If she can jump from man to man like that (and claim that each one is super serious it no telling what she'll do).:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters) -- Soul singer Barry White, battling kidney failure brought on by years of high blood pressure, is undergoing dialysis and is hoping to receive a kidney transplant, his record label said Wednesday.

At the request of White's family, no details about his condition were disclosed, and it was not revealed whether he was hospitalized or living at home while receiving treatment on an out-patient basis.

"Doctors confirm that Barry White has a history of hypertension (high blood pressure), which has led to a decline of kidney function," according to a statement from Island Def Jam Music Group. "He has started a course of maintenance dialysis therapy. Once stabilized, he will be a candidate for a kidney transplant."

A spokeswoman at the label said White had suffered kidney failure.

The hefty 58-year-old performer, known for his rich bass vocals and musical love-maestro persona, has provided "the mood" for countless candlelight dinners and late-night trysts with such ballads as "Can't Get Enough Of Your Love, Babe," and "You're the First, the Last, My Everything."

He won the first two Grammys of his 40-year career 2 1/2 years ago for the album "Staying Power."



Hopefully, after he stabilized, they will be able to find a kidney that will match. Organ donations among the AA community are low.

Lamman Rucker, the tall-dark-and-handsome actor who plays attorney T. Marshall Travers on the Emmy-award-winning soap opera, "As The World Turns," is set to appear on a new TV series called, "A Dating Story." The new show, which premiers tonight on TLC, will be hooking him up on a blind date with singer Chanelle Haynes from the gospel group Trin-I-tee 5:7. During an interview yesterday with the BET Radio Network, Lamman said that he was asked to be on the show because things didn't work out with someone else. He explained, "Paul Taylor, who is also on [`As The World Turns']—he plays the character Isaac—was originally slated to be the guy from our show that was supposed to be on the date with Chanelle, but that didn't work out… I think there ended up being scheduling conflicts." Lamman says he was happy that it ended up being him. Lamman and Chanelle's "Dating Story" begins with separate interviews, and then the camera pals around them as they individually prepare for their date and finally acts as a voyeur to their encounter. For the results, watch TLC tonight for the premiere of "A Dating Story."

The "Page Six" section of the "New York Post" reports that rap mogul Sean "P. Diddy" Combs will most likely fly a bunch of his friends to an exotic location for his 33rd birthday on November 4th. According to the paper, Diddy is planning to blow $1.5 million to fly 100 of his closest friends to Punta Canta in the Dominican Republic where he'll host a bash at Oscar de la Renta's swanky villa. However, Combs' reps told the Post that, although he'll most likely have a party out of town, details have yet to be decided.

The "New York Post" reports that there was a sighting of Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles taking golf lessons together in the Bahamas.

Jennifer Lopez will reportedly play a hot bisexual babe on HBO's "Sex and the City." According to the Internet Movie Database web site, J.Lo will play, quote, a slut who seduces Kim Cattrall's character [Samantha] only to wind up stealing her boyfriend."

Meanwhile, J.Lo has helped pump up those rumors about her being engaged to Ben Affleck. During a radio interview last week (with Wendy Williams of New York's WBLS), J.Lo said she could neither "confirm nor deny" reports that she and Affleck are heading toward the altar. And what about the National Enquirer story that said Lopez started dating Affleck while she was still married to Cris Judd? (Cris Judd's dad gave that story to the Enquirer.) Meanwhile, filmmaker Joel Schumacher hopes to direct Jennifer Lopez and Will Smith in a remake of "A Star Is Born." Will told TV Guide back in July that he was down for the idea.

TLC's fourth album, "3D," will include a special tribute to the late
Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes (who died in an automobile accident in Honduras in April). The new TLC album (which is due out on November 12 on Arista Records) features a joint called "Dirty" (written and produced by Missy Elliott and Timbaland) which features T-Boz and Chilli saying: the remaining members of TLC take time to "Left Eye would want us to break it down like this… Left Eye gets a moment of silence." Another song, called "Turntable," sounds like T-Boz and Chilli's way of dealing with the sadness of Left Eye's death. The Rodney Jerkins-produced jam doesn't mention Left Eye by name, but the lyrics talk about overcoming a tragedy: "You had your ups and downs/It happened for a reason/'Cause after there was showers/There
will come a change of seasons/So please don't give up now/'Cause sun shines through the clouds/It's gonna be all right." Then, the chorus says: "Don't ask yourself why/Just look to the sky/Believe it/So you'll see the other side."

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) - Kobe Bryant, a three-time NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers, is going to be a first-time father.
Bryant said Monday his wife, Vanessa, is expecting a daughter in February.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" Bryant said, grinning.
Bryant said the couple is mulling names.
"We change our mind like every other day," he said. "We're just taking our time with it."
The couple married in April 2001.
Teammate Shaquille O'Neal, the unmarried father of five children, :eek: has volunteered to be a godparent, but Bryant said he has family members who will fill that role.
"Experience is the best teacher," O'Neal said. "The only lesson it's probably going to teach him is the same lesson it taught me: Don't bring your stresses home. Because the kids see that, the wife sees that, so you have to leave the stresses of the job here."
