I'm flying to D C and driving back home with my daughter early Aug. We are planing on 2 nights. I LOVE this city and could easily see my daughter living in one of those apts. that are 1/2 basement-old red brickbuldings-everyone on bikes. I'm getting excited thinking about it. You all are lucky to have so much going on. The crime is a little hard to take though...

Just last week, I was telling my two sons (age 9 & 11) to STAND RIGHT on the escalator at the Atlanta airport and then I proceeded to explain why the courteous thing to do was to stand right! And I have been moved from DC area (lived in Fairfax Station and worked at the State Dept) for almost 5 years now!! (I miss it!!)

I finally moved back from school in Boston to DC. These posts have me LMAO. A gettogether would be nice. I'm not greek though but can I come? :-D SARDINES...i can't get it out of my head now!

Everyone's welcome! It's at Cosi in Dupont Circle at 6:30pm Wednesday. So far we have 4 people definitely coming.
