FYI -- I am not prego. Before I get a PM, LMAO. When her twat catches something, she will sit her azz down somewhere. |
I meant "not" in that other post.
I do not think peeps do the 6 weeks thing anymore. One could not take a baby out until it had had its 6 weeks check-up. But now, those chillin have those babies out with NOTHING on or over them to protect them from germs AS SOON as they come home from the hospital. They sashay around with the newborns like they are toddlers. That just makes me ill. |

Stars who won't grow old together By Tanya Barrientos Philidelphia Inquirer Columnist So it's splitsville between Jennifer Lopez and her backup boy, Cris Judd, after eight short months of marriage. Is anyone really surprised? I'm no marriage counselor, but when your husband is on your payroll, the odds against a perfect union are pretty high. Not to mention the fact that this particular coupling was the ultimate rebound romance. Remember that J. Lo and P. Diddy Puffy Sean Jean Combs broke up only weeks before the Latina actress-singer-dancer-restaurateur-presidential adviser (just kidding about the last one) hooked up with Judd. The diva met the dancer in January of last year, was engaged by the summer, and walked down the aisle in September. Of course, this isn't the first time Lopez has suffered from a wedding hangover. Her first marriage, in 1997 to Ojani Noa (also a dancer - hey, Jennifer, step away from the chorus line!), lasted less than a year. I've heard of starter marriages, but it looks as if the Hollywood set has moved beyond those to whiplash weddings, designed more to garner publicity than a lifetime of love. Consider this not-at-all-exhaustive list of celebrities who have had one, and sometimes two, blink-and-you'll-miss-them unions: Drew Barrymore and bar owner Jeremy Thomas said "I do" after a six-week romance and split up 19 days later. Drew Barrymore and Tom Green played annoying comedian and wife for less than six months before calling it quits. Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman lasted a whopping 10 days. Shannen Doherty and Ashley Hamilton, married seven months. Ashley Hamilton and Angie Everhart, legally hitched for 55 days. Courtney Thorne-Smith was the jinxed cover girl of the spring 2001 issue of InStyle Weddings magazine. Her marriage to genetic scientist Andrew Conrad didn't last even until the ink was dry. The magazine, with a smiling picture of the blushing bride, hit newsstands weeks after the couple separated. They made it to seven months. Kelly Rutherford, who starred in Melrose Place, also was subject to the InStyle curse. She married Venezuelan banker Carlos Tarajano last June, invited the magazine to cover the lavish Beverly Hills nuptials, then filed for divorce in January, a month before the issue came out. (If you ask me, it's the editors who should be blushing, not the brides!) Julia Roberts overcame her altar aversion long enough to do the deed with singer-songwriter Lyle Lovett in 1993, but the vows didn't take. They were married for less than two years. Helen Hunt and Hank Azaria dated successfully for six years, then put the kibosh on their love affair when they made it legal in 1999. The marriage lasted 17 months. Actress Robin Givens and tennis instructor Svetozar Marinkovic, who scored "love all" in 1997, got married and separated the same day (Aug. 22). The divorce was official a few months later. That one was considerably shorter than Givens' short (16-month) and infamous union with Mike Tyson, which ended in 1989. Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley did a less-than-convincing 1994 televised kiss that foreshadowed their split. Their baffling union lasted 20 surreal months. And back in 1970 (lest you think this is only a post-boomer phenomenon), actor Dennis Hopper married Michelle Phillips (the Mamas and the Papas, and later Knots Landing) on Halloween. The candy was dandy, but when the sugar rush lifted eight days later, the couple dashed to divorce court to call it quits. Hey, I know marriage is hard work. Half of the marriages in America fail, and that's just among us "little people." I'm sure being rich and famous and having to deal with mansions and servants and galas and premieres doesn't help (although my husband and I would be willing to try). Here's my advice for newlyweds Paul McCartney and Heather Mills, whose ceremony at an Irish castle made international headlines: The marriage is the thing. The rest is just showbiz. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok, I mainly posted this peice because of Robin Givins. (getting on my soapbox).... HOW THE FREAK YOU GONNA MARRY SOMEBODY THAT MORNING, BUT THEN SEPERATE FROM THEM LATER THAT DAY??  Your feeling did not change that quick. If you kow from the jump that you are not ready, then don't get married!!! (stepping off my soapbox).... |

Hugh Grant's Divine Memories
London, Tuesday 25 June 2002: Hugh Grant is furious with the Britain's BBC TV network after discovering they are making a documentary about his 1995 encounter with a Los Angeles prostitute. The actor was arrested on Sunset Boulevard, LA after being caught by police having a sex act performed on him by Hollywood hooker Divine Brown. Grant was given a $1,180 (£786) fine and two years probation and the scandal made front page news on both sides of the Atlantic. Now Hugh - who was dating Elizabeth Hurley at the time of his indiscretion - looks like he will have to relive the horror of his arrest after the British Broadcasting Corporation revealed they plan to make a TV show all about his encounter with Brown - called MY WORST WEEK. And the star is furious. A source told British tabloid the Daily Mirror, "Hugh's people were livid when they heard the show was going to be dragging up all the Divine stuff. "Hugh went spare and ordered his aides to 'close down' the situation. "He made his people talk to all his friends - anyone who was likely to blab about the matter. "They were informed that if they spoke on camera about the incident, Hugh would never speak to them again." According to the Mirror, Hugh managed to silence his pals, but the show - due to be aired on British television later this year (02) - is expected to include a new interview with Divine and some of the people involved in catching her and the actor in the act. Jacko Begged for MIB2 Movie Role Los Angeles, Tuesday 25 June 2002: Pop superstar Michael Jackson's role in Men In Black II was never a last-minute decision - the singer begged for the part for years. The Thriller star features in the Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones-fronted flick as an undercover alien intelligence officer. And Smith admits that Jackson had strong desires to be a part of the film ever since seeing the original Men In Black flick. He says, "Michael called after the first film. He called four years ago and he said, 'Look, if there is ever a Men in Black II, I'm in that movie!'" And Smith says the King of Pop's celluloid presence has proved to be a huge hit with preview audiences. He adds, "The way the audience reacted felt really good for me. I saw it with an audience the other night and people were just screaming and applauding." |
RACHEL FIGHTS BACK
Everybody's favorite Friend Jennifer Aniston — who is suing two magazines for publishing photos of her sunbathing topless — will have her day in court next week, although it will be sans a jury. U.S. District Judge Ronald Lew said he would conduct a court trial and render a verdict himself because Aniston's lawyers failed to demand a jury when the lawsuit was filed in 2000. The 33-year-old actress is expected to testify at the trial, which gets underway July 2 in Los Angeles. MORE LEGAL STUFF Pop diva Elton John's bid to reopen his $21 million lawsuit against former accountants PricewaterhouseCoopers was rejected Monday by Britain's Court of Appeal. John insists the company failed to keep track of his finances. LIFE AFTER ANN The Ann Landers advice column — penned by the late Esther Lederer — will be replaced by two columns: one written by her daughter Margo Howard and one by two of her editors. However, the two new columns will not fall under the Ann Landers banner, as per Lederer's wishes. Lederer died of cancer on Saturday at age 83. |
Hugh Grant
Hugh Grant has no game. Why would a man who was going w/Elizabeth Hurley at the time go out and buy sex?
 http://www.uniquehardware.co.uk/serv...inkai/tool.gif As an actor, HG's too old to play these foppish, confused boyish men. He and Meg Ryan remind me of each other. Meg is 40 -- it's way past time to be the ingenue. |
