This is why I love Greekchat, and Greek life in general. When any of us is going through a difficult time, we all ache together. And when we lose a brother or sister, we all feel like we've lost a member of our own family.

I've never met any fellow Greekchatters, but I feel like I know some of you better than I know certain people that I've met in real life. I've known Lynn to be someone who's opinionated, but fair and compassionate in her discussions with fellow Greeks. I feel for those of you who had the pleasure of interacting with her in person.

I hope that what little time Lynn may have here is peaceful and joyous and that she's surrounded by friends and family. AGD is losing one of its most amazing members.

This. Thank you @DoctorDee for keeping us in the loop. RIP Lynn!

GC has brought some amazing people in my life, through Facebook or other social media and eventually in person. Outside of my best friend being a former GCer, I've attended a wedding of another GCer, a few other's chapter events and otherwise learned a wealth of knowledge about life and myself through some of yall. <3

Rest in peace. My condolences.

I met Lynn on GreekChat. We had dinner when I was in Atlanta for the 2002 American Library Assn. conference. "How will I recognize you?" "I'm the sister you've never met!" and then we joked about being "internet pickups."

She set a high standard for love and loyalty.

I'm so sorry to hear this. My sympathies to all her loved ones--it looks like there were many.

My condolences and sympathy to her family, AGD sisters, and friends.

So sad to hear this. I believe I used to work with a chapter sister who was an active around the time Lynn was in college. Lynn also lived in the next town over from me. My thoughts go out to her family and sisters.

Many people showed up today for AGDLynn's funeral. GPhiBLtColonel and I were there representing GreekChat. Nice contingent of Alpha Gams from the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter as well as the Gamma Tau chapter of Alpha Gam.

Lynn's husband asked me to take her badge to make sure it is returned properly. I consider it an honor, and will deliver it personally this summer to IHQ.

Thank you for representing GreekChat. And yes, I think it's quite an honor to be able to return her pin.

I'm so sad I wasn't able to go. What an honor to deliver the badge of such a wonderful sister we had.

I was at IHQ this past weekend and delivered Lynn's badge.

I looked at it one more time, then wrote her full name and chapter on the box, and handed it to our Executive Director.

A piece of me is dreading the Memorial Service at Convention this year.
