At many schools, if you try and transfer in your classes from another school (say community college or somewhere else) then the school may only take the credits and not give you the grade. So, you could go to community college and take 5 classes over the summer and get all "A's" in those classes but, when you try to transfer them to Bloomsburg, they could say, "That's great. Here's your 15 credits but, your GPA has not changed one bit!" You need to be aware of this.

But speaking as a sorority member who has years of experience dealing with recruitment I can authoritatively say that having the liabilities of a poor g.p.a, attitude and being an upperclassman are going to make it nigh onto impossible to get a bid from a NPC sorority.

You must not have read my previous posts. I'm very familiar with your school. Even if my sorority doesn't have a chapter there, I can tell you that many of the women in sororities (especially the national/ international ones) care about grades more than you think. Even if they thought you were "Perfect Pledge Patty" because you were so awesome and they were willing to overlook your grades, their organizations would (most likely) not.
