Just a few more days til it's released, still on the fence if I will buy it or not. Apple is expecting to sell six million of them this year. How are you guys planning on carrying your ipad around town if you buy one? I'm not crazy about the idea of lugging around a man purse or a back pack just for this thing.

I have this thing called a uuuhhh...bag that I carry stuff in already and I think it will fit just fine.



On a more serious note, I am slightly bummed that the holder that Apple advertised for it won't be out day one.

Maybe there will be another one via 3rd party.

By holder do you mean a case? Vaja has some nice leather and rubber ones that I think you can buy now.

I don't think it'll be that bad. I have a laptop bag made for my laptop. I'm definitely gonna buy an iPad but, I just think it would be a good idea to have a bag that's designed to hold both an iPad and a laptop.:)

I picked it up on Saturday after waiting at an empty Best Buy (everyone lined up at the Apple Store across the street) . So far I am impressed with the way it handles web pages and loading apps up very quickly.

Video streaming under a good wi-fi connection was great and the e book reader is really intuitive. If you have handled an iPhone or iPod Touch, you will have no troubles handling this.

I wound up getting the 64gb so it's going to take a while to fill this up.

You think it's worth it? I'm waiting for the 3G version to come out later this month but was considering just waiting for the second generation ipad to come out and hope for 4G.

For what I want it to do, it's definently worth it and I think the 3G version will be phenominal. I do agree that the next gen one will probably the really big thing but then of course there is a press conference Apple is having on Thursday that may finally shed light on iPhone OS 4.0 coming soon.

I see a lot of potential for this product in the legal field... particularly for in-courtroom document management. Hopefully someone makes an app for that.

Right, there are also a lot of rumbles about long-awaited upgrades to the MacBook & MacBook Pro lines, which hopefully will come out soon. There's talk of ending the consumer-level MacBook cycle now and replacing it with something else. I learned my lesson about not researching when Apple plans to release updates. :)

Well no matter what, even when you get 'the latest and greatest' you already know that there is 'another one' following right behind it.

Updated Macbook Pros should be out within the next three months, I heard the delay was due to intel or the manufactures. There's also the new Iphone Ipod Touch HD that's supposed to be out in July/August.
