I agree with you on this one. They kept saying last season that they were going to bring in someone brand new... and then they announced Jake. It's almost like they forgot they promised someone new?

They like the built in audience that someone old brings. But perhaps we'd be MORE excited about getting to know a brand new person and seeing them fresh? They haven't brought back an early reject before, have they? Before maybe F4 or F5? That could be a good compromise.

Ditto on the bringing back rejects thing. Does anyone else feel like he doesn't pick EITHER of them? I know they purposely make the previews all dramatic, but both girls were quoted saying these negative things. Hmmm...

Supposedly he does pick one of them at the final rose ceremony, but also supposedly the After the Final Rose episode is supposed to be where the excitement is at. But... who really knows anymore?

I agree, because when you think about this hot mess...it traces all the way back to Brad Womack.

Brad Womack -> Deanna Pappas -> Jason Mesnick -> Gillian -> Jake Pavelka

so true^^

Roslynn is the worst liar EVER.

AGDee 02-22-2010 10:51 PM

I'm not convinced she's lying. Every season, I am more convinced that it's just all scripted. They are all acting.

Allie is totally the next Bachelorette, the terms of the contract probably just haven't been worked out yet. Everything she said was so scripted and so pro-the-show.

srmom 02-23-2010 11:53 AM

After watching last night, I really think he doesn't pick anyone. He just doesn't seem at all like a guy who's ecstatically in love! When asked how he was feeling, he just said that he's happy, and he said it kind of dully.

OTOH, maybe he did pick Vienna and the luster has already worn off and he's happy he figured it out.

As usual, I like the out-takes more than the show. :)

That is also weak, because any guy with an erection is gonna "go for it", cameras or not. I don't think any footage exists because nothing ever happened. If anything, I think the producer liked her more than she liked him (hello...have you seen photos of him? He is TEH GROSS).

I agree, I don't think anything happened. Besides the girls all changing their stories, they would have plenty of proof and would play it up to make it "The Most Dramatic Season of The Bachelor Ever!" I found this interview quite amusing, apparently she turned the WTA interview back on Chris Harrison and was quickly escorted from the stage:

“Everyone who knows me knows it wasn’t true and it’s kind of silly,” Rozlyn said of the rumored affair. She defended herself to Harrison at the Women Tell All taping.

He did not do well with actual confrontation,” Rozlyn said of her conversation with Chris Harrison on the stage. “It wasn’t scripted, he does well with scripted. But he said something like “We’re all just really wounded by this because a member of our family, one of our dear friends was fired,’ and I said ‘It’s funny you should say that because I talk to this producer and the fact that you guys are friends is news to him. He didn’t get a really friendly vibe when you were hitting on his wife last year in New Zealand!”

According to Rozlyn, Chris reacted poorly to her accusations. “He did not stomach it very well. He tried to play it off at first but you could tell he was pissed.”
Her time on stage abruptly ended after she accused Chris of flirting with Ryan Callahan’s wife. “As soon as Chris Harrison started getting angry they whisked me off the stage.”

After everything that Rozlyn Papa endured during this season, she said the Women Tell All taping “wasn’t really fun,” and she wasn’t sure how much of her confrontation with Chris Harrison will be on the episode. “They’re crafty, those people over at the Bachelor,” she told RadarOnline.com. However, she said “I hope they air it.”

Honestly, Jessi and Ella are coming off as the shady ones here.

LucyKKG 02-23-2010 04:57 PM

I cracked up about Rozlyn accusing Chris Harrison of hitting on that guy's wife. He was clearly PISSED about that.

That was 'sofa king' awesome...I loved it. He was totally PO'd at her. But of course, Mike Fleiss is all about the ratings and not even Chris Harrison is safe, so they left that in. 'Twas a beautiful moment. :D

I was also LMAO about the descriptions given about Tenley (when Gina was bleeped out as saying that Tenley "$hits rainbows".) LOL

thetygerlily 02-24-2010 01:44 PM

I finally watched it last night- the Tenley descriptions were definitely hillarious. The rainbows comment, and also the comment about her dreaming in cartoons... so funny. The short segment about the girls talking about each other (in a non-drama-inducing way) was one of the best parts of WTA, they should've had more! And go Fleiss for not holding back for anyone. At least he's consistent in his standards about not holding back.

Ali totally gave the perfect interview to be the next Bachelorette. She didn't refer to being the next Bachelorette at all, and walked the fine line between being devastated over the Jake situation and being ready to move on & make love a priority. Well played, Ali, well played.

LucyKKG 02-24-2010 08:21 PM

Yeah, the stuff about Tenley was SO funny!

Kappamd 03-01-2010 11:06 PM

Gross.
