So apparently there is a fraternity house across the street from the medical center that is blasting Michael Jackson's music.

Someone in front of my house is blasting Thriller from their car. The block is gonna be a mess tonight.

I was in chem lab and someone was texted. No one believed it until the teacher pulled it up on her computer.

All his dancing! step cross kick, pivot right, moon walk 234, triple spin, pose on tips of toes... Sigh.

Jordan Chandler will sleep well tonight

I feel for his kids. They've already had such a screwed up life. Hopefully they'll have more of a shot of normalcy.

It's still not sinking in for me. It just takes me back to the way I felt when Princess Diana passed. It's like I want to wake up from a bad dream.

I know, it's just that some people (not you) are so focused on money, not even recognizing the fact that we just lost one of the greatest entertainers ever.

Watching MTV Jams now, they're playing all MJ. The station label in the corner just seys MTV Jams R.I.P. :(

ETA: YES!!! WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR....THRILLER!!!

I still can't believe it. Part of the reason is because out of anyone in the world that my mother could have told me that died today Michael Jackson is not a name that I would have EVER thought that I would hear. :( What a sad day.

Crazy. First Farrah and now Michael. He had such a difficult life. I really feel for him. I was hoping that he'd make a comeback. I was also hoping that he'd do a US tour if his European tour was successful. I am so sad that I'll never get to see him in concert. He is truly a legend.

Apparently he was planning on a US tour for next year.

It was originally planned for this year, but he had some health problems and had to push it back.

I honestly do feel for him, he had alot going on.

It is really sad what he's been through, and where he came from (i.e. screwed up family). I'm sure his dad is already figuring out how to make money out of this.

I'm so glad that one of his lawyers is calling all these enablers out. This is some really messed up stuff. All of those hard hours of working, plus injuries, plus surgeries/procedures to deal with the injuries, plus stress over money, plus working out, plus all these bottom feeders looking for a free ride, plus so much depending on you AND all that unecessary plastic surgery! That is enough to do any man in.

I'm so sad right now. When I was 17, I was at Hard Rock's headquarters doing a special program and we were allowed to try on tons of the stuff that had been turned in to them. One of the things was the red jacket from THRILLER. That was one of the greatest days of my life. :D

I keep talking about it. I know it. But I don't like to hear anyone say it. :(

E! is all MJ right now. I kind of feel bad that Farrah's hype has been completely killed now b/c of MJ's death.

...not saying death is a popularity contest or anything... but hell, I'm not seeing any Charlie's Angels playbacks right now.

I cannot believe he was only 50, though. They just keep getting younger.

The following post was made over 5 years ago, but for some reason it stuck with me through the years as I read and listened to news regarding Michael Jackson, but now that he was 50 when he died, this post makes it kinda creepy (not to say that his cause of death was due to what was originally posted, but if it comes out to be the case, it makes this post all the more creepier):

Watching the promos for the show made it sound much worse than it was and the obvious spin at the end made me think that Michael does have the right to feel betrayed by this man he let into his life for 8 months.

Michael was obviously traumatized by his childhood, and I suspect he is on meds probably for bi-polar (which may explain the manic behavior in Berlin). The discoloration of his nail beds is indicative of someone who is ill or are meds and could be from the vitiligo. Yes, I do believe that he has the affliction and yes I'm guessing that he had skin peels (or whatever) to eliminate the spotting, especially after suffering the trauma from childhood about his acne.

I also think the whole thing about kids sleeping in the bedroom was blown out of proportion. I believe that he is asexual (he said that he did not have sex with Tatum) and did not and will not sexually assault any children. And really I couldn't care less how many facial surgeries he has had--2 or 20. If he wants to look like and be Peter Pan, that's cool too. There are worse things than wanting to be eternally young, like being eternally messed up on crack.

But IMHO, Mr. Bashir (and Barbara Walters in her commentaries) artfully edited and spun the documentary in a way that was solely for the purpose of sensationalism and discreditation.

I left the whole thing deeply concerned about Michael--concerned more of what he might do to himself when he can no longer hide the aging process. I honestly believe he may commit suicide before he turns 50.

Keep in mind that she had a media bonanza for like 3 weeks about a month ago. Also, while her death is no less important, she had been suffering for years and we all expected her to die sometime soon. She is in a far better place now. How long does someone who has acknowledged that they are incurable want to continue dealing with the pain that they've dealt with for YEARS? I hope she went peacefully.
