The transcript between Rahm Emanuel and Blago is to die for. Basically, it's just the F-word. Emanuel ends the conversation with, "have a nice life, fatso!"

There is something that gets me. When the charges of abuse of power were released,didn't it occur to him that the phones were tapped?

well let's remember, HE IN HIS OWN MIND doesn't think he did anything wrong.

That is true,but even as he claims he didn't do anything wrong,he should've been more careful on the phone.

The first governor in 20 years to have been impeached...also Illinois Senate has banned him from ever holding public office again.

The jury has gone home. 1 guilty verdict for lying to the FBI, and the jury could not reach a verdict on any other charge.

Why even bother? He is just trying to live the Chicago politician's dream. Got to keep up with the Daileys.

They're going to retry him. It was 11-1 on most of the counts regarding the Senate seat. And he can get up to 5 years just for the lying. (Of course it was like 200+ years for all of it.)

Also you'd think our "just trolling for response" guy could spell the name of the mayor of Chicago.
