Never feel sorry for asking for prayers - "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken."- Ecclesiastes 4:9 - 12.
Praying for you and your mother. |
Turning in a prayer request for my Dad; he is being admitted to the hospital tomorrow due to some problems with his kidneys; this is a precautionary measure due to some test results coming in from his doctor's office and I theorize that if it was a major issue, they would have him down there tonight. He is in his late 70s.

Prayers for all...
Please pray for my father. He has a herniated disc (this happened a while back) and he's having mobility issues. We went into NYC today and visited a museum, and he wound up in a LOT of pain. He could scarcely walk, even with his cane. When we got back, he took some Advil and took a nap. He's ok now. But I've told him that he must report this to his physical therapist and his internist. He didn't go to confession today. He goes every week - even if he's not conscious of having committed a sin, he goes for the grace of confession. So this is major. :( |
My husband and I are having an embryo transfer tomorrow morning. This has been a long journey for us over the past two years and we are excited, hopeful, and scared. We would be so grateful for any prayers or good thoughts sent our way. Thanks!

So as some of you know, my mom was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer just before Christmas of 2011. She had surgery and went through chemo and she's been doing great! She just informed me she's going to have another colonoscopy in 2 weeks rather than wait until December because she's seeing blood again and having some pain on her right side.
I could use some positive thoughts, vibes, and prayers right now...they said it could be some scar tissue from her surgery, but obviously they won't know until they get in there and see for themselves. I'm keeping positive thoughts...I'm due to give birth to my daughter (first grandchild on my side of the family) in about 3 1/2 weeks so I need all the positive things I can get right now! |
