Did anyone else think that Claire looked fatter in the face than last week?

I just saw the episode for the second time ( my sister was watching and I couldn't help but watch it again!) I thought that her face did look a little fatter? Maybe Jacob had food stashed in the cabin? ;)

Wait a sec....did I miss an episode? I saw Rousseau and Karl get killed (and the Asian guy found them later) and I saw Alex kinda back up against the tree and say, "What do you want? I'm Ben's daughter" or something like that. But did Alex really get killed? Do we know this for sure?

I wonder if I missed an episode without realizing it?

Yes, Alex was killed in the next episode. Ben had a flashforward & everything where he told Whitmore that he'd kill Penny in return.

Besides hanging out with dead people, there's no reason to believe Claire's dead. :)

That (and the whole her face is fatter thing) is pretty much my only reason for wondering.

I definitely think Michael is dead. That is why Jack's father told him he could go now.

As for Jin, I hope not. That must have been awful for Sun to watch.

Michael is dead! We know from previous episodes that he could not die because the island did not want him to die, but for some reason they island let him now. Hence Jack's dad (Is he Jacob?), said it was time to go home or something like that.

As for Jin, I think he is dead, I hope not, but I don't see any other way. I was seriously tearing up at that point, and screaming NO! at the TV the whole time!

Seriously the actor who plays Ben, Michael Emerson, should win an Emmy!!!!!! He won one for The Practice and was nominated last year along with Terry O'Quinn (Locke)! I so wanted one of them to win!

Is anyone confused about Locke? Is he really dead? If so how and how the heck did he get off the island? Did he have to move it? What bad things would happen, are the others and islanders going to hate each other again? What are we going to flash back to next year?

I just gotta say thank goodness they chose who they did for the coffin b/c I would have hunted down the producers & the writers of the show for killing off Sawyer or Desmond. ;)

I sobbed when the boat exploded. Poor Jin. :( Mike thinks he's still alive b/c after all, it is the island and it won't let you die until it deems you ready to die.

On another note, I wonder why Hurley didn't tell Walt that Michael was dead?

Future Sun with Mr. Widmore is kinda scary and badass. I like her!

I think Hurley is too kind hearted to tell a kid that hasn't seen his dad in years that Michael is probably dead after being blown up in an explosion.

Ommmmmmmmmmmg I finally watched it just now. Holy crap! I cried twice (when Jin died, and yes, I think he's really dead) and when Desmond got back to Penny. Why does John Locke = Jeremy Bentham? Is that his assumed name after he became king of the others? Oh wow, I need real live people to discuss this with. Madness!!!

Oh, and why do they keep saying that they have to go back to the island? I'm sure we'll find out next season what awful things happened the day they left, but why do they need to go back? Ahhh so many questions!!

Michael and Walt had fake names too. John Locke died on Oceanic 815. Jeremy Bentham could travel the world.

If everyone has to go back, including Aaron (over Claire's objections) and John (ick!); then Walt needs to go back too, right?

I really dont know if Jin is dead, he was at the hospital bringing that panda to someone while Sun was giving birth remember? So im REALLY confused about that.

I also wonder if Locke aka Jeremy went back to being paralyzed after he left the island. Also, did the interracial couple (I think her name was Rose and ???) get off the island? I know they wanted to leave but did they wait to board the freighter just like Juliet?

That episode had flashbacks. Sun was having the baby in the "present" post island. Jin with the panda was a flashback to when he & Sun were 1st married. The panda was for a client's baby as part of his work for Sun's father.

I don't think Rose wanted to leave the island, actually. I think she had cancer, but the island cured it. She said she just felt better there.

The Island Allowed Michael and Walt to leave....apparently, it didn't want the others too....

Based on several articles I've read online, I'm pretty sure Michael is dead. The articles go on to talk about Harold Perrineau's casting in a new ABC pilot, "The Unusuals."

I'm not 100% convinced Jin's dead, though.

I hope Walt goes back. The only reason they wrote him off really is because of his growth spurt. Now that thats done i dont see a reason why he wouldnt be back on the show.

Im wondering that also. Because i thought the island is the only reason he can walk, and if he left he would be paralyzed. I hope they address that next season. And no Rose and Bernard stayed.

Yes that was a cool scene. Yes Michael is dead and Harold Perrineau wasnt very happy about that (as he shouldn't be) Im in the "jins not dead" boat also. I mean if Mikhail can live after being killed 9 times, Locke can live after being shot, and most the survivors lived after the massive plane crash, Jin can live from a boat explosion. Plus we never saw him die. My bets are hes still alive!

Rose wanted to go home, Bernard wanted to stay because the island made her better. That was in the episode when Jin found out about the affair.
