jessiwannabe 09-12-2007 05:27 PM

I can say what ever I please about my sister are you going to make me stop?

LatinaAlumna 09-12-2007 05:30 PM

^Why are you acting like a thug?

LPIDelta 09-12-2007 05:31 PM

Nope--its pretty apparent that the warnings don't do anything to deter you. I mean, you do realize that you have pretty much nixed any chances of getting into your GLO of choice with the info you have provided here, right?

jessiwannabe 09-12-2007 05:32 PM

I'm not but I should be able to say what I want about her. That is my sister. Just like if I wanted to refer to God as my father I should be able to.

LatinaAlumna 09-12-2007 05:34 PM

^Okay, but do you UNDERSTAND that when you say things like "are you gonna make me stop?" you are no better than a common thug?

LPIDelta 09-12-2007 05:35 PM

Well Greek Life will likely have to survive without a "hazing savior" to protect new members everywhere.

You can say whatever you want--but don't be surprised if people start biting.

I won't curse her out or put my hands on her if she doesn't touch me. Its all about what she wants to do.

This would be a lack of respect for another person. I don't appreciate you making implications about my sister this way.

But I will. Tell me where I need to go to see you and bring you a spelling/grammar book. I have an old one from undergrad that you can use. I'll even look at your car if you like, although I'm a pretty poor mechanic.

Yes, that's right. I'm willing to spend my weekend on a road trip with the express purpose of helping you learn to write clearly.

Say whatever you like, we just think you're using her memory in poor taste.

Sure, and I'm free to say that you're doing so in poor taste.

Yeah, tell me about it.

lovelyivy84 09-12-2007 05:36 PM

Dude- at this point all signs point to you being totally off your meds.

I about died laughing when I saw the cyber-invite to rumble at the car.

What a lady.

jessiwannabe 09-12-2007 05:37 PM

Well no cause getting in a organization should not be based on opinions you don't know if I'm just here to start a conflict.I might not be this way for real. You will never know. I just might be saying somethings just to get a rise out of people you don't know that. I picked this subject because I know it's sentitive.Their are a thousand different Jessi's out here how will they know me I could change my name soon you don't know that.

I will dig up my MLA handbook and send it to you, we can make her a packet!

jessiwannabe 09-12-2007 05:39 PM

Well I just asked a question is she going to make me stop she didn't answer. She is grown I think she can take care of her self. Thank you I say say whatever I like about her I sure can. That is all I wanted to hear.

LPIDelta 09-12-2007 05:40 PM

Jessi with just an i (no y or ie) and a nursing major--I am going to guess there aren't a whole lot of those going around trying to join NPHC sororities in Birmingham. I am sure people have already put you on the radar. You wouldn't be the first person to kill their chances by posting garbage on GC. If I were you and I had any hope of joining a GLO, delete delete delete.

ETA: Gaining a bid to a GLO may not be based solely on someone's opinions, but it is based on class and representing yourself well--not sure you've accomplished that here, sorry.

jessiwannabe 09-12-2007 05:43 PM

Okay. Now what?

Does this remind anyone else of Audrey Hepburn as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady?

Getting to an organization is all based on opinions. How precisely would you know if you are not a member of them. Maybe you aren't this way for real, but operating on the assumption that you are amuses me. I sincerely hope that you're not how you appear here.

Do change your name because of GC.

Yes but I have this thing about my sisters being threatened. It's just not nice. And I'm offering to take her place as your weekend grammar tutor. You should be excited! I'll bring cookies.

Lol, that's what I was going to bring her. They made us buy these school specific ones so of course I couldn't sell it back and all of my papers are APA format now so I don't need mine!

jessiwannabe 09-12-2007 05:44 PM

It reminds me of it too. I don't make threats I make promises. The things you heard about me might be true but then again they might be as fake as the person who told you

It reminds me of a learning disabled twelve year old.

I had thoughts about burning mine in effigy when I graduated (MLA being ridiculously clunky compared to APA) but I'm so glad I saved it. The poor child needs it ever so much more, bless her heart.

jessiwannabe 09-12-2007 05:48 PM

Cool we can read it together.

I choose seeing her car. I wanna know what kind of car it is. What color is it? Does it have heated seats? I love them ass-warmers. But being in Birmingham, you don't need those things, right?

jessiwannabe 09-12-2007 05:53 PM

No it is already hot here. lol

Actually I live in San Antonio, and I LOVE my heated seats during the cool months and when my back is sore.

They are great for back pain. Sometimes, if I am taking my mom somewhere, I put on the ass-warmer before she gets in the car. She hates them... she thinks there is something dirty about them...I always get a chuckle.

I didn't ask you to be under me. I respond to the heat thing.

Okay, now that I see this comment, everything you've been posting on GC makes sense to me. You are a middle schooler, inquiring about joining a sorority once you get to college!

jessiwannabe 09-12-2007 06:12 PM

maybe maybe not who's to say

I'm going to need directions to your car.

What is wrong with this girl I've been reading her threads and I just think she really has courage. I'm in a organization and I just think you all are ganging up on her now.

PoisonIvy 09-12-2007 06:21 PM

If she does want to be in a organization she just has to learn not to take everything personal. I'm sorry about your sister you really loved her.

She has a lack of ability to communicate.

This has nothing to do with her ability to cope with the death of her sister. (Despite the fact that she brings it up, at inappropriate times.) That is courage.

This thread, and others she's made (and had deleted for their inappropriateness) are not.

My car (that I just gave away- fare ye well volvo!) had seat warmers. It was AWESOME in the winter.

Talking about it is FAR MORE ENTERTAINING than watching the sock puppets come out to support the troll.

PoisonIvy 09-12-2007 06:27 PM

Maybe people do change maybe you should find out where agression comes from before you just lock up and throw away a key. She has delt with a lot maybe she just might feel if she joins a organization she can correct that. She is not a bad person she is just misunderstood. Joining a organization is about being in a family mostly and trusting each other if she can do that she is okay.

LatinaAlumna 09-12-2007 06:29 PM

^How do you know so much about the original poster?:confused::D

Also, joining a sorority is not "mostly" about being in a family. It's mostly about HARD WORK, and being a member cannot correct issues that should be addressed through professional counseling.

PoisonIvy 09-12-2007 06:29 PM

I can read

PoisonIvy 09-12-2007 06:30 PM

She also has another thead about minorites and suicide so read that and tell me what you think
