Okay - for you guys - I'll spill!

The DG colonization team has interviewed more than 100 women for about 45 more spots to total and then average chapter size(ACS). So I'm guessing that DG will be one of the largest chapters by Saturday on the DePaul campus...after only two weeks!

I'm jumping up and down! It is so fun to be so successful. Of course we know we have a great base in Chicago and that is certainly helping!

Enjoy! (I am!)

AnchorAlumna 10-04-2007 09:02 PM

Yay, DePaul!!!

WhiteDaisy128 10-04-2007 09:13 PM

YAY! DePaul! OMG! That's sooo exciting! Katie is a CDC there and she is awesome! She's from Eta Kappa! Yay!

I'm living in Chicago now (and sadly couldn't help out with the colonization as I just got a new job and I've been working insane hours!) and I met the 2 CDCs who are here for the colonization--Katie and Lindsay (from Albion College)--at an alumnae event about a month ago. Both of them were so excited to be in Chicago and to do the colonization. When Katie said she was from Eta Kappa I thought of you CJ, but I didn't want to tell her I 'knew' you because of Greekchat. Last thing I wanted to be was the 'internet stalker alum' :).

I'm glad they've been so successful! The alumnae event I was at was VERY well attended and there were a lot of more recent (within the past 5 years) alums who were eager to help out DePaul. With U of Chicago and Northwestern all within a small distance of each other and DePaul it's gotta be great!

dukedg 10-07-2007 08:07 PM

That DePaul news is SO exciting! Sounds like the colony/chapter is off to a great start!!!

I know that AngieWashU will have the Colorado College results when she's sure of what quota was (I know she heard conflicting reports). She is the former ATC there. We definitely made at least quota there (if not quota plus)...but I'll let her give the numbers when she has them.

dukedg 10-10-2007 01:26 PM

Thanks for the Riverside news, deadbear80. Can't wait to hear the Colorado College update from AngieWashU! According to our facebook group, George Washington got 39 new members (quota +1).

Thanks for all the updates, ADDG!

Well, DG's fall formal recruitment is officially over and even though we are still missing a few results, I feel it is safe to say our chapters all did amazingly well!!! This seems to be one of the best formal recruitment periods ever :)

AngieWashU 10-17-2007 02:09 AM

I heard tonight that 91% of DG chapters pledged quota! Congrats to all our chapters for their great work! :)

ajuhdg 10-18-2007 08:59 AM

Do we have any updates at UGA? I know they have a COB event coming up, but what did they get up to? Those ladies have got to be the hardest working women in DG!!

ADDG 10-21-2007 05:55 PM

Hartford had informal, not formal - they cob'd 5

Michigan Q 50, P 53

dukedg 10-21-2007 08:16 PM

I've updated Michigan and Hartford based on ADDG's info.

Chapters that have finished recruitment with missing/partial results:

Sep. 12 - 20 Salisbury State University ?/?
Oct. 11 - 14 The University of Chicago ?/16

Also, if you know any COB results for Georgia or otherwise, please let us know so we can celebrate and I can update this list!

deadbear80 10-28-2007 09:40 AM

Salisbury University (as it's called now) I think got 10 members this Fall.
At least...if you count the girls on the front page that are part of their new 'Omega' class, that's how many are there. Their page was updated in late September, so I'm sure it's probably correct.

I don't, however, know what quota was.

dukedg 10-28-2007 06:18 PM

Thanks deadbear80 -- I appreciate all detective skills used to find pledge class info :)

Chapters that have finished recruitment with missing/partial results:

Sep. 12 - 20 Salisbury University 10/?
Oct. 11 - 14 The University of Chicago ?/16

Still taking all COB updates as well! Some time in November/December I will post the spring 2008 list.

dukedg 11-01-2007 09:05 PM

I read on our facebook group that Albion got 7 women through COB this fall, so I have updated the list.

Chapters that have finished recruitment with missing/partial results:

Oct. 11 - 14 The University of Chicago ?/16

dukedg 11-06-2007 10:03 PM

Based on information on the Salisbury Greek Life website (specifically regarding recruitment counselor applications), I believe Salisbury has formal recruitment in the spring and therefore I have moved the 10 new members they got this fall to the informal section of the list.

That means only one more to go! YAY! Can you all tell that I am slightly type A? ;)

Chapters that have finished recruitment with missing/partial results:

Oct. 11 - 14 The University of Chicago ?/16

deadbear80 11-06-2007 11:58 PM

I have the missing key! I was with our Chicago Alumnae Chapter President over the weekend and she told me that....

University of Chicago got 13 girls.

So I think we've gotten all the results!

dukedg 11-07-2007 04:44 PM

Thanks, deadbear80, for the final results for fall 2007 recruitment! And a big thank you to everyone who has helped provide info to complete our list.

Another successful recruitment season is done! I will, of course, continue to update if anyone gets some COB/informal results. Otherwise, I'll be making the spring 2008 recruitment list in the next few weeks.

AnchorAlumna 11-07-2007 06:09 PM

And a BIG THANK YOU to you, dukedg! You're anchor-awesome!:D

YAY! I've updated the list. If our numbers are right, and no new members have dropped, then Delta Iota has 52 new members this fall (from formal, immediate COB and this latest COB). That is outstanding!

AngieWashU 11-13-2007 09:02 PM

Phi has COBed 10 women and Beta Pi has COBed 13 women.

Wow! Also listed on our facebook group, UNT got 5 more new members through COB. All these have been updated on our list.

By the way, does anyone know when Franklin College does their recruiting/Formal Recruitment? For some reason I thought it was in the spring, but I don't remember why!

dukedg 11-21-2007 08:36 PM

According to our Facebook group, Spring Hill College picked up 8 new members through COB!

dukedg 11-23-2007 01:06 AM

Franklin College

So, apparently Franklin College has fall formal recruitment and I skipped them on the list. Therefore, chapters that have finished recruitment with missing/partial results:

Sep. 26 - 30 Franklin College ?/?

Last one, I hope ladies! Sorry for the confusion.
