I have not made this design but I have sewn frayed edge quilts before. They get very heavy so make sure your sewing machine is on a table that can support the weight easily (ie a dining room table vs. a sewing machine table). When you clip the seams to get the fraying started, make sure you only clip the hems and not the actual quilt. Most importantly, wash and dry the quilt at a laundromat with commercial-grade appliances instead of using your machines at home. Clear the lint tray throughout the cycles.

I didn't go back and search this thread but standing at the Brighton counter, I saw that they had a set of 3 bookmarks..1 had a crown and 1 had a fleur-de-lis.
