I agree that Renee had a more mature look, but I noticed something the other night when she was kicked off and they showed all her photos from the season: They MADE her look "old" when they gave her the makeover and cut her hair off! She looked much younger in all of her photos in which she had longer hair or extensions. That was lame to kick her off at the end for that reason. As much as I didn't like her personality, she was the only one of those girls that took an amazing photo every time.

i, too, am ready for a plus sized model to take it home...and yeah, an asian girl too. lets not forget the indians (american or not). i am glad though, that there has been a mix of races winning. otherwise id be a tad bit suspicious lol...!

as much as I want a plus size model to win, and I might not sound politically correct, I would prefer a model winning (whatever her race or size) because she is the best one there. She either has taken consistently amazing photos (or has consistently improved to taking awesome photos), has a killer walk, has a great personality and can talk. For me if she is all of those things, it shouldn't matter what her race is.

The fact that they might be playing a race card is retarded. It reminds me of people trying to get into higher education schools (like masters, phd, law school, med school) and they (the schools) have to take a certain amount of minorities. It's stupid because people should get in based on their talents, grades, experiences, not the color of their skin. The same goes for this modeling contest (at least in my mind).

I just feel we need to stop looking at skin color.

(end of my soapbox rant because OMG I could get started with racial discrimination in just my school district. LOL)

i dont think they are playing any sort of race card at all...it is refreshing to see a variety of people succeed in this sort of show! it shows how far we have all come.

and i do kinda agree that the best model should win. i think i started rooting for the plus sized girls because, well, i am built like most of them ( go home team lol! ) and i used to hate it soo much when Janice Dickenson used to whine about "shes not model material because shes too big/too short/etc." there have been some beautiful girls on this show, my favorite was Eva who was of course, too short. women come in a variety and im glad to see the show incorporates that.

(can i still root for the plus sized girls? it was so refreshing to see someone eat on that show lmao!):p

Cover Girl needs a variety of faces (black, white, Asian, Latina) to sell their product to a variety of markets. The days of Christie Brinkley are long gone. It's been shown that people want to buy things from people who look like they do.

I don't think it is "racism" per se, just common sense marketing. The thing is that it's masquerading as a competition. It would be interesting to see what happened if CG pulled out of the show.

The end!

I have been a "Jaslene" fan from the beginning and she rightfully won. Renee looks old and Natasha is annoying. Jaslene's photo's were beautiful and she looked absolutely gorgeous at the panel. I really wish she would've brought it at the fashion show though...she has a much better "walk" than Natasha and I wanted to see Jaslene shut her down! It's okay though, the best woman won, the end!
