Patty 411 Celebrity Report May 8, 2006

Patty Jackson's 411 for the week of May 8th, 2006

An announcement could be coming as early as this week about Star Jones exit from The View. We won’t have to worry about a Star Jones-Rosie O’Donnell catfight because Star won’t be on the show. Barbara Walters wants her off the show immediately. Walters has had enough of Star’s antics, and no one on the show likes her. Rosie has always voiced her opinion about Star (she can’t stand her). Star will probably say she is leaving the show to pursue other interests. Her agents are already looking to line up another gig for her. Star’s contract runs out in September. Even though she won’t publicly admit it, you know she is pissed. How could Barbara Walters just pull the rug out from under her. Word has it Star may be replaced by Oprah Winfrey’s best friend Gayle King. Gayle will probably take over the role that is being exited by Meredith Vieira. Before she became known as Oprah’s best friend, Gayle was a news reporter. Producers want someone with a news background on the show. By hiring Gayle King, you would accomplish two things: you would have your African American, and you would get Oprah’s best friend. Plus, Oprah will love you forever. What is Star going to do? Will she change her ways? The daytime talker The View is going to have a new look when it debuts this fall. If I were Elizabeth Hasselback, I wouldn’t get too comfortable. She’s young, but she adds nothing to the show. I hear the producers would like to replace her with a Latina woman.

Whitney Houston is striking out on her own. She left the rehab center she was staying in. She doesn’t think she needs professional help. She feels as though she can handle her own problems. Right now, she is trying to pull herself together. She’s not with hubby Bobby Brown. They had a huge fight a few weeks ago, and he walked out. She feels betrayed by Bobby and his family. She always felt that Bobby’s mother, Carol Brown, was out to destroy her marriage. A few weeks ago, Whitney suffered the ultimate betrayal when her sister-in-law Tina sold her story to the tabloids. The pictures of the drug den and Whitney’s escapades were disgusting. Can Whitney conquer her demons and get on with her life, or is she in denial, slowly killing herself?

The Pointer Sisters family feud has reached a boiling point. Bonnie Pointer has been banned once again from the family. In exclusive interviews with the tabloids, Bonnie spilled the beans on how cruel her sisters Ruth and Anita were to her and late sister June. Bonnie and June were the problem children with drugs and booze ruining their lives. Ruth and Anita realized that Bonnie and June had too many issues, and they kicked them out of the group. Ruth had her own daughter step in as an honorary sister. Ruth realized that money had to made, and she was not going to let her drug addicted sisters ruin the Pointer Sisters. June died tragically a few weeks ago from cancer, and for a minute, the family came together. Then, Bonnie went running her mouth. Bonnie needed money, and she went to the tabloids telling all. She claims June was cremated against her wishes. The family says they didn’t have the money to bury June. June did not have insurance, so they had her body cremated. Bonnie says when she spoke out, she was not allowed to ride in the family hearse at her sister’s funeral. She also says she was banned from being in the group. Friends of Ruth and Anita say the remaining members of the Pointer Sisters are tired of dealing with the drama and Bonnie’s issues. Bonnie should shut up about family business and stop trying to make a quick dollar.

This fall a skinnier Janet Jackson will be everywhere. She has cut her hair and lost the weight. The new album, 20-years old, comes out in September. That same month, she will be performing live on the Today Show. Janet will be touring in support of the album. The first single is called Call Me, and if it sounds familiar, it’s because she sampled the 1984 Sheila E hit The Glamorous Life.

The nightmare is over for Singer Chaka Khan. Last week, a judge found her 27-year old son not guilty of murder. Damien Holland was on trial for the murder of a 17-year old aspiring rapper. Damien says it was an accidental shooting, and based on the evidence, the judge believed him. The 17-year old was killed following an argument with Damien. The 17-year old lived with Damien, Damien girlfriend, their daughter and Chaka Khan. Sources say Damien found out the 17-year old was having an affair with his girlfriend and an argument broke out. Minutes later, the teen was shot dead with an M-16 assault rifle. Chaka testified on behalf of her son. She says it a terrible accident, and Damien never meant to kill anyone.

No jail time yet for Singer Ron Isley. The sentencing phase of his IRS trial has been postponed for a second time. Isley faces up to 26 years in jail for tax evasion and for cashing his late brother’s royalty checks. The Isley Brothers released a new album this week entitled Baby Making Music.

Whoopi Goldberg is coming to radio later this summer. Whoopi has just signed a deal to host a syndicated morning wakeup show called Wake Up with Whoopi. She is also coming out with a children’s book called Whoopi’s Big Book of Manners.

Teddy Pendergrass is going to be honored in Philly. He will be honored by the Urban League of Philadelphia during their 4th Annual Song of Equality Gala. The event is happening Saturday, June 17th at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Peabo Bryson is performing. For more info call 215-893-1999.

Actress Gabrielle Union has found love. Last year, Gabrielle stunned everyone when she announced she and her husband were splitting. Gabrielle is currently dating NFL Player Darren Sharp of the Minnesota Vikings. It looks like love.
Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Family Reunion is coming out on DVD next month.

After 16 years, the marriage is over between Actress Kimberly Elise and her hubby Maurice Oldham. They have two young daughters. Later this year, Kimberly will co-star with Terrence Howard and Bernie Mac in the movie, PDR.

Simple Life Star Nicole Richie is finally admitting what we’ve been saying all along: SHE’S TOO THIN! Nicole opens up in the latest issue of Vanity Fair magazine. She says she had a problem, and she is currently seeing a doctor and a nutritionist. She says she was not happy and stressed out. Nicole’s dad, Singer Lionel Richie, feels he is to blame for her stress because of his highly publicized divorce.

Fantasia’s life story is coming to the Lifetime Channel. The American Idol winner is going to star in a movie based on her life called Life Is Not A Fairytale. Debbie Allen is directing the movie. Loretta Devine has been cast as Fantasia’s grandmother, and Kadeem Hardison will play her dad.

Halle Berry will be teaming up with Benicio Del Toro for the movie Things We Lost in the Fire. The movie is about a widow who grows close to her husband’s best friend. Later this month, check out Halle in X-Men III: The Last Stage.

Former Basketball Star Dennis Rodman is feuding with his long lost dad. Rodman had only seen his dad, Philander, once in 40 years. The two recently tried to reconcile, but Philander was up to no good. When he went to meet his son, he came along with a TV crew and an entourage. He wanted to film their reunion and use it for a reality show. Dennis lost it and quickly threw his pop out, telling the deadbeat day to just stay away.
Filming starts this fall on Rush Hour III with Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. Brett Ratner will be back directing.

Psychologist and frequent Oprah Winfrey Contributor Dr. Robin Smith has just released her latest book. The Truth About Great Marriages is a must read for anyone deciding to take the plunge.

Actress Tichina Arnold (Everybody Hates Chris) will be joining her former Martin castmate Martin Lawrence in the biker comedy Wild Hogs. The movie also stars Tim Allen and John Travolta. Tichina will play Martin’s wife.

Jamie Foxx will be part of the box office blockbusters this summer. His movie Miami Vice, with Colin Farrell, opens in theatres on July 28th.

WHAT’S THE UNDERGROUND BUZZ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This married NBA Superstar claims to love his wife and kids, but he is not faithful. Lately, he’s been running around with a Reality Star Ho. He likes this girl, despite her slutty ways. Friends are trying to warn him: don’t blow your marriage on a woman who is willing to do anything to get ahead! She wants to be a star in the worst way. She sleeps around with men and women, and she has posed for scantily clad pictures. She will do anything to get ahead. Will the NBA Superstar ruin his marriage over a cheap ho?

OOPS, she did it again! In a desperate attempt to keep up with her husband’s baby momma, she gets pregnant again. The baby momma has two of his kids, and now she will have two as well. Her husband still likes the baby momma. Let’s hope she doesn’t get pregnant for a third time.

Kanye West Sued Over Car Lease Deal 1 hour, 43 minutes ago

LOS ANGELES - A lawsuit has been filed against Kanye West and his production company claiming breach of contract for not returning a Mercedes-Benz after its lease expired in January.

The lawsuit, filed Friday in Superior Court by Delaware-based DCFS Trust, said West's Konman Entertainment leased a 2003 Mercedes G500 in September 2002, with the agreement calling for 39 consecutive payments of $1,295 a month.

As Konman's president, West signed as lease guarantor, according to the lawsuit.

DCFS Trust claimed the luxury sport utility vehicle was not returned as scheduled and holdover fees were not paid.

Phone messages left Wednesday for the 27-year-old rapper's publicist, Gabe Tesoriero, were not immediately returned. Konman Entertainment could not be reached because the firm has an unlisted phone number.

DCFS Trust, which took over the lease from Prestige Motors Inc., is seeking $53,747, plus attorney fees, accruing lease payments, late charges, interest and punitive damages.

DCFS Trust declined comment on the legal action.

"Our client does not address ongoing litigation," DCFS Trust's attorney, Rebecca Caley, said.

Good for them. I've never like Star and/or Buckwild ever since they were on MTV for a minute. I really disliked them after Star's comments re: Aaliyah.

After viewing the link, I'm outraged at his comments! He definitely got what he deserved! I never heard his program and I can see why.

mulattogyrl 05-11-2006 01:38 PM

I was a big fan of Star and Bucwild, but what he said was out of control, and I was listening when he said it. He said what he said on purpose (to get DJ Envy mad), but that doesn't excuse it. He was wrong on this one.

dzdst796 05-11-2006 01:51 PM

He is always to the left. But it was rumored that him and DJ envy had some words and DJ envy went down to the 105.1 building and Star called the cops on him like a punk.

Exactly, and that's what Star was so mad about, because according to Star, it wasn't true. That's why he took it to the level he did. It's still not an excuse though.

LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters) -- A wheelchair-bound Los Angeles woman, who has repeatedly filed lawsuits over access for the disabled, got up and ran after police arrested her for fraud, authorities said Thursday.

Laura Lee Medley, 35, had sued in at least four California cities over injuries she claimed she sustained while trying to navigate her wheelchair before she was suspected of fraud.

Medley, who claimed to be paralyzed from a drunk driving accident, was tracked to Las Vegas where police there took her into custody and then, when she complained of medical issues, to a local hospital, Long Beach prosecutor Belinda Mayes said.

"She gets to the hospital and while she's waiting for an examination, she gets up from the chair and runs," Mayes said. "Somebody remarked, 'That's where the great miracle occurred.' "

Medley sprinted through the hospital corridors but was quickly apprehended by police and booked pending extradition to San Bernardino, California, where she is facing charges of filing false documents, attempted grand theft and insurance fraud.

Medley has sued the cities of Long Beach and South Pasadena and counties of San Bernardino and Riverside over various injuries she claimed she sustained in her wheelchair. She was also being sought on arrest warrants by the states of Oregon and Washington, Mayes said.

Star releases a statement--BV

Amid all the scuttlebutt that tabloid news outlets are reporting about TV personality Star Jones Reynolds leaving her long-time post as a co-host of ABC's 'The View,' Black Voices has obtained an official statement from her camp. "Star has enjoyed co-hosting 'The View' for the past nine years and truly loves her job,' said Brad Zeifman, who reps the best-selling author and Payless Shoe spokeswoman. "She’s been assured by [show executive producers] Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie that she’s welcome back for the 10th season. Anything further you have to ask Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie."

On May 5, Fox News gossip columnist Roger Friedman reported that Oprah Winfrey pal Gayle King was being considered as a replacement on the show, which will add Rosie O'Donnell to its line-up in the fall. The notorious 'New York Post' gossip column Page Six, also picked up on the story, along with news outlets including ABC's Chicago affiliate, WLS-TV. Yesterday, King -- a top editor at 'O: The Oprah Magazine'-- told 'Extra's' A.J. Calloway: "You can't believe the things you read in the paper. I certainly haven't talked to anybody about joining ‘The View,' and I don't believe Star Jones is going anywhere. I can't imagine ‘The View' without her."

O.J. Simpson Pulls White Bronco Prank on 'Juiced'

Friday , May 12, 2006

LOS ANGELES — In a scene from his new candid-camera program "Juiced," O.J. Simpson  pulls a prank involving the infamous white Bronco, drawing criticism from the family of a man he was accused of killing.

As part of the pay-per-view show, Simpson pretends to sell the Bronco at a used car lot and boasts to a prospective buyer that he made the vehicle famous, according to a segment aired Thursday on "Inside Edition."

"It was good for me — it helped me get away," Simpson said, referring to the slow-speed, televised police chase that preceded his 1994 arrest on charges of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman.

Goldman's father, Fred, told "Inside Edition" he found Simpson's comment "morally reprehensible."

Simpson was acquitted of murder. A civil jury later held him liable for the deaths and ordered him to pay $33.5 million to the Brown and Goldman families.

Much of that judgment remains unpaid.

"Any money that he makes, I hope, will go to satisfy the multimillion dollar judgment made against him in the civil case," said Brown family attorney Gloria Allred.

The hour-long program is airing on pay-per-view this month, and a DVD offering uncensored material will be made available soon, "Juiced" executive producer Rick Mahr told The Associated Press.

Other practical jokes include Simpson disguised as an Elvis impersonator, a vagabond selling oranges for money and an elderly man leading a Bingo game.

Simpson was not paid for the program, Mahr said.

"Basically O.J. Simpson has decided to do this because he wants to do it, and he wanted to have fun with it," Mahr said.

Power 105.1's Star is Arrested
By: Mark Lelinwalla

May 12, 2006

Former Power 105 radio host, Star, was arrested on charges of harassment and endangering the welfare of a child earlier today (May 12) for his threatening and outlandish remarks about rival DJ Envy’s 4-year-old daughter.

A law enforcement source told News Channel 4 that Troi Torain, aka Star, was taken into custody and transported to a police precinct in Lower Manhattan earlier today.

Though Star has issued an apology statement through his attorney, Benjamin Brafman, it wasn’t enough for him to escape the arrest. The Manhattan district attorney’s office and the New York Police Department's Hate Crime Task Force launched an investigation due to Star’s on-air comments.

Star offered $500 to the listener that would tell him the name and location of the school that Envy’s daughter attends.

Endangering the welfare of a minor is listed as a misdemeanor.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Southern California freshman point guard Ryan Francis was shot and killed early Saturday while riding in a car in Louisiana, where he was visiting his mother.

The 19-year-old Francis was killed about 3:30 a.m. in Baton Rouge, said Tim Tessalone, USC's director of sports information.

"We understand he was in a car and somebody shot into the car," Tessalone said.

No other details were immediately available.

Francis was USC's starting point guard and averaged more than seven points a game. He scored 22 points a game at Glen Oaks High School in Baton Rouge, leading his team to a 36-0 record and the state's 4-A championship in 2004-05. Francis was named the 2005 Louisiana Class 4-A Player of the Year.

"We're all devastated," said USC coach Tim Floyd. "We've lost a special young man who in his short time at USC made an impression that will last forever."

WHY WAS HIS AZZ SITTING IN A CAR AT 3:30? GO IN THE HOUSE. I WILL PRAY FOR HIS FAMILY AN.D TEAMMATES.

BV Buzz 5/8--News on Wanda Sykes

For comedienne Wanda Sykes, voicing the character of "Stella the Skunk" in the DreamWorks animated film 'Over the Hedge,' was art imitating life. "I'm very gassy in the morning. So I was able to relate to that. I was like, there really is 'fire in the hole,'" said Sykes jokingly, referencing her character's catchphrase from the film.

In the movie, the gang of animated characters put a plan in motion to steal some of the luxuries that they discovered outside of their life in the forest. In real life, Sykes said her career took off without a real plan in place. "I really wish that I could tell you that all of this was mapped out and I had this big plan, but I didn't. I take it day by day. If a project comes up and it appeals to me, I say, 'I wanna do this.' The only thing that I really put thought behind is my stand up," she said, as we set in her suite at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills.

The meteoric rise to stardom for the Portsmouth, Va., native, who was named one of the 25 Funniest People in America by Entertainment Weekly, has apparently frustrated some of Sykes's comedy peers. One in particular, 'Queen of Comedy' Sommore, said that Sykes was "manufactured from Chris Rock" during an interview on the nationally syndicated radio show 'The Wendy Williams Experience.'

Sykes is diplomatic about the dis. "I find it funny that she would say that," she said. "I was Wanda Sykes before I started working with Chris. That's how I got to be in a position to work with Chris, because Chris saw me when I was doing standup and I opened for him and he was like, 'You're funny!' When he got his show ['The Chris Rock Show'] he asked me to write on his show. He gave me a platform and gave me exposure to work on his show and all that, but I deserved to be there. I find it funny!"

The 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' regular is equally polite when addressing Bill Cosby, who shocked viewers of the 2003 Emmy Awards by taking a jab at Sykes on live television. During a bit where Sykes worked the crowd, she approached Cosby and asked how he managed to get where he did. Wearing dark sunglasses and clearly annoyed, Cosby responded: "I spoke English!" Sykes looked unfazed and moved on to the next person.

"Only time I think about it is when [someone brings it up]," she said of the incident. "Because even that night, I didn't even think about it. I didn't even absorb it. It was a live show…and I was pretty much in my zone of what I had to do. I didn't even hear what he said. It wasn't until that next morning that I was like, 'What is everybody talking about?'" Has she seen or spoken to Cosby since then? "Umm, no," she replied.

In addition to four more new films this year-'The Barnyard,' 'Clerks II,' 'My Super Ex-Girlfriend' and 'Evan Almighty'-and talks of doing one with Ellen DeGeneres, Sykes has a few projects of her own. "There's a lot of things, but I'm reading a book now on the life of Hattie McDaniel. Not to say that I would like to do that story, but I don't know, it would be nice to see her story out there. It would be cool to see other pictures other than her from 'Gone with the Wind,' and every now and then you see her with the Oscar. To see something in between, on how she got there. I find that very interesting," she said.

Real Love

Eric Benet recently guest-starred on UPN's 'Half & Half' and even played a supporting role in Mariah Carey's theatrical bomb 'Glitter.' But is the crooner planning to do more in the acting? "I've never been bitten by the acting bug. It's really not a passion of mine. Anytime I did anything like that, I did it because I was asked, and at the moment it sounded like something fun to do. And if I'm asked to do something that's interesting and fun to do, I'd do it again. But I'm not pursuing it," confessed the singer.

Benet, whose latest single "Pretty Baby" from his album 'Hurricane' jumped from number 14 to number 10 on the Urban AC radio charts after an impressive 180 adds two weeks ago, is serious about one thing: "What is a passionate interest of mine is writing. I've been writing songs my entire life, but now I'm working on this screenplay. I'm trying to finish it, and I'm passionate about that. Creating the content always excites me more."

After five weeks of being married, the couple split in February and has filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. The two knew each other only four months before jumping the broom. McCrary has had several high-profile relationships, having dated Nona Gaye, Tracee Ellis Ross, Coko of SWV and Ty James (daughter of late Rick James).

Genlux magazine and Diane von Furstenberg sponsored the special shopping event that was coordinated by new fashion insider Jayneoni (www.jayneoni.com) and shot by 'Entertainment Tonight.' Guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and champagne while shopping at a discounted rate. Directors from the Jenesse Center were on hand to share information on the program, which received a portion of the event's proceeds.

Hollywood publicist Makeda Smith of Jazzmyne Public Relations and Foster Corder of Daughters 2 Feed Films are suing Cesar Millan, who is better known as the Dog Whisperer. The pair is seeking $5 million for copyright infringement, breach of contract and breach of confidential relationship. The National Geographic Channel, MPH Entertainment, Inc. and Emery/Summer Productions, LLC are also named in the suit. Apparently Smith and Corder created Millan's name Dog Whisperer and shot a pilot for the canine trainer called 'The Dog Whisperer' that featured 'Everybody Hates Chris' star Tichina Arnold. They're accusing Millan, who displayed his dog-taming talents on 'Oprah,' of going behind their backs and inking a deal for the series. "Millan endeared himself to me. He snuck across the Mexican border with nothing but a dream. Corder and I invested our time and resources to mold him into the personality he is today," Smith said in a statement.

Can't Say Names…

Sources spotted an R&B songstress canoodling with a recently traded NFL football star at a steakhouse in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. This would be a typical spotting on 'any other night,' but factor in that the singer is supposed to be in a committed relationship with a member of her management team and you realize there's a problem. Especially since said manager-boyfriend is known for delivering a beat down when things don't go his way. Let's hope the Miami Dolphin doesn't find out the hard way. Likely: Sharissa, Brooke Valentine, Keyshia Cole. Unlikely: Rihanna and Ashanti

Gladys new face of Ashley Stewart (BV)

R&B legend Gladys Knight is the newest face of Ashley Stewart's "Great Woman of Style" campaign -- which kicks off this weekend in Harlem as part of a Mother’s Day celebration.

The campaign includes in-store and online marketing initiatives and a music project tie in.

Ashley Stewart’s Vice President and General Merchandise Manager Marla Minns couldn't stop singing the three-time Grammy Award winner's praises: "Gladys Knight is not only a musical icon; she is also a shrewd businesswoman, wonderful wife and loving mother.

"She fits our campaign perfectly, because she is a great woman of style in every aspect of her life."

The 15-year old popular fashion line -- for full-figured women-- will also offer specially packaged Gladys Knight CDs, a raffle contest and a $500 shopping spree, for the kick-off event.

For Knight, who turns 62 later this month, Mother's Day is a very special time of the year. She had the closest relationship to her late mother, Elizabeth Knight, who she said oversaw the financial aspects of her professional endeavors. In memory of her mom, she hosts an annual birthday concert which raises funds for the diabetes research charity, which is named The Elizabeth Knight Fund.

"She lived with that disease for over 50 years," Knight says. "She eventually went blind and she eventually lost a kidney but to live with that disease for that long a time, all the doctors said that’s unheard of. She lived to be 80. And she was diagnosed in her early 30s.

"So many people are unaware of this disease," Knight adds. "It’s in epidemic proportion and people don’t realize it. Everyone getting it, so now everyone wants to talk about it. It used to be relegated to the African-American community or third world…but now anyone can get it."

Knight also shares a similarly close relationship to her daughter Kenya Jackson, who now manages her business affairs. "That’s my girl, that’s my girl," Knight gleefully states. "We've been through thick and thin together. She came back and she’s been managing me ever since my mom and [son] Jimmy [Newman] passed away. We’ve just been going at it together."

'Before Me,' her new CD of classic jazz standards, which she describes as “a dream come true,” and executive produced by Tommy LiPuma, was originally due for release June 6 but is now expected October 10. "This postponement aligns the release of the CD more closely with a PBS concert special taping at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles in September, with special guests to be announced," said Verve Records publicist Jai St, Laurent. "The PBS program will air during the November/December pledge drives nationwide and will be followed by a national tour in January 2007."

Zane's Addicted to become a movie (BV)

Best-selling novelist 'Zane' has struck a deal with Lionsgate films to bring her sexually charged tome 'Addicted' to the big screen. Hollywood power player Suzanne de Passe is on board to produce the film, which is also being developed into a stage version.

The studio believes this pact will continue its commitment to bringing cultural sensations to a broader North American movie audience. Last month, Lionsgate released 'Akeelah and the Bee,' and has had astounding box office success with the Tyler Perry movies, 'Diary of a Mad Black Woman' and 'Madea's Family Reunion.'

"Zane is a cultural icon with a devoted legion of fans, and we are very excited about elevating her tremendous reach to include moviegoers nationwide,” said Mike Paseornek, Lionsgate's President of Production. "We believe that we can translate the success of her book into a film that brings her fiery passion and timeless, universal themes to an even larger audience not yet familiar with her work."

Zane, her psuedonym, is a recently divorced mother of three and has authored nine books. "I look forward to my first theatrical release," she told Black Voices. "I am confident that 'Addicted' will be the first of many more to follow. The black female sexual revolution is long overdue. We freed our bodies a long time ago; now it is time to free our minds." "Addicted" tells the story of a successful African-American arts dealer who seems to have everything but feels helpless in the grip of an overpowering addiction to sex.

"Women living in today's 'microwave society' have to deal with numerous responsibilities, pressures, and challenges," Zane added. "When it comes down to intimacy, we deserve to leave each and every experience just as satisfied as the men we share our bodies with."

She looks to be a 12-14, so she's at the outer edge of plus, or a "tweener."

As an aside, some of the much-higher end companies than Ashley Stewart (read: Marina Rinaldi and Talbots Woman) go smaller than 14W. Hecks, Marina Rinaldi actually has a 10W.

What a predicament(sp?) they will be in trying to bring this book to film. Either cut out 99% of the book so it can have an R rating or sounds like you better find out which theatre plays NC-17 rated movies:o
