you want to join me?

AOIIalum 10-10-2005 05:10 PM

If I'm lucky, it'll be waiting for me on my birthday.

ASUADPi 10-11-2005 12:20 PM

Not trivia but OMG....

I was just searching Itunes and they now have a compleation CD for the seasons of Buffy!!!!

It's 102 songs and to download all the songs is $100.98.

SWEET!!!!

Not that I need all of them but Brianna is going to have some fun listening to them (well at least the 30 seconds. lol)

kstar 10-13-2005 02:15 AM

Okay... since there hasn't been a question in a while...

What three actors played villians in all three of Joss' shows? (Buffy, Angel, and Firefly.)

ms_gwyn 10-13-2005 01:32 PM

too easy

Jonathan M. Woodward

BtVS - Holden Webster
Angel - Knox
Firefly - Tracey

someone else come up with a question

But what about the other two actors? Kstar asked for 3.

I too could only remember the one you said. I'm going to have to do some digging for the other ones.

BetteDavisEyes 10-14-2005 09:49 AM

I can't believe I never really looked at this thread b/c I LOVE Buffy.

Who said this line?

"Okay, Giles and orgies in the same sentence. I could have done without that one."

I completely misread the question

I will have the others in a minute...

ASUADPi 10-14-2005 02:05 PM

See the only other actors I can think of are:

Nathan Fillion: Caleb on Buffy (evil) and he was Malcolm on Firefly and Mal wasn't necessarily "evil". He was just a theif.

Gina Torres: Jasmine on Angel (evil) and Zoey on Firefly

Adam Baldwin: Some lawyer dude in S5 of Angel (he was boinking Harmony ;)) and then Jayne in Firefly

And then the person you listed.

Imdb.com here I come.

Ok I NOW have the full answer

Jeff Ricketts
Weatherby - BtVs
Spider Monster & Weatherby - Angel
Blue Glove #1 - Firefly

Bob Fimiani
Mr. Ward - BtVS
Codger Demon - Angel
Elder Gamman - Firefly

Jonathan M. Woodward
BtVS - Holden Webster
Angel - Knox
Firefly - Tracey

If this isn't right...I give up...not really, I just can't believe I misread the question in the first place, this is the second time that I've done that

I know this one...without thinking or looking even....since it is my favorite character :D

Xander and for bonus points the epsidoe is The Dark Age - Season 2

ASUADPi 10-14-2005 03:53 PM

Who the hell is Weatherby and Mr. Ward? I'm drawing a total blank. Which is quite sad considering I've seen all 144 episodes of Buffy more times than I can count.

Weatherby - A wetworks Watcher
Mr. Ward - One of the G-Men for the Initiative

Tickled Pink 2 10-14-2005 04:27 PM

Which cast member of "Girlfriends" played in 2 episodes of BTVS & which 2 eps?

http://wwwimage.upn.com/shows/girlfr...s/main_hdr.jpg

ms_gwyn 10-14-2005 04:44 PM

haha

I'm going with Persia White...but technically she only played in 1 episode....twice....I think that is what you are going for...unless I am completely wrong...which it most likely is

Persia White played Aura in the unaired pilot and Welcome to the Helmouth

She also had a role on Angel in season 2......

I don't think I'm right.....

Tickled Pink 2 10-14-2005 06:01 PM

^^^^You are absolutely right. I was wrong. She was in 1 ep of Buffy, and in Over the Rainbow on ATS.

Your turn to ask a question!:)

Actually, that's almost right, and I was wrong, apparently there are four... Those are two of the three I was thinking of.

Also:

Andy Umberger
"Firefly" playing "Dortmunder Captain"
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" playing "D'Hoffryn"
"Angel" playing "Dr. Ronald Meltzer"

Carlos Jacott
"Firefly" playing "Lawrence Dobson"
"Angel" playing "Richard Straley"
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" playing "Ken"

I had never heard of Bob Fimiani, but he wasn't a "villian" in all of them, since the Elder Gamman was a good guy. (And gave Jayne a rain stick!)

ASUADPi 11-24-2005 06:34 PM

bumping...since I'm in a Buffy sort of mood :)

Question.... (kind of easy too, but just want to get the ball rolling)

What was the name of the 100th Angel episode and why is it an important episode?

AOIIalum 11-24-2005 10:25 PM

Had to look it up, but looks like it was We All Live in A Nazi Submarine. It's important because it was the 100th ep, and a play on The Beatles "Yellow Submarine" (how's THAT for a stretch, huh? :)) I'm sure that there's a much better answer on the why than that one, but hey, I tried!

ASUADPi 11-24-2005 10:31 PM

So close.

It's the episode right before the one you stated. :)

I got my DVDs :D

I am so excited, it get to watch them without commericals...

I am a happy girl

ms_gwyn 11-28-2005 04:58 PM

Oh news from other sources:

from AICN

SPIKE THE VAMPYRE,
RIPPER, ILLYRIA BURKLE, FAITH, OZ IN IOWA &
SLAYER GUILD May Now Be Straight-To-DVD Movies??

I am – Hercules!!

Let us give thanks!

One now gets the feeling the WB - which had to cancel “Angel” to make room for great shows like “Blue Collar TV,” “Jack & Bobby,” “The Mountain,” “Supernatural,” “Just Legal,” and “Twins” - isn’t going to give us that “Spike” TV-movie after all.

One now also gets the feeling we’re going to get something a whole lot better. A Buffiverse in which Willow Rosenberg might be permitted to call the big bad “a cunt” occasionally.

In the new issue of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Magazine , Anthony Stewart Head reveals that the proposed BBC series centering on Buffy’s former mentor, Rupert Giles, is now being thought of as “a two-hour movie that might be part of a series of DVDs that we were talking about doing for the different characters from the shows.”

This info dovetails nicely into some comments former “Buffy” writer-producer Marti Noxon made to scifiwire.com several days ago:
Code:

"There are serious discussions going on about bringing
some of the characters back and making a few movies
that will go straight to DVD, but they will certainly be the
quality they have always been."

No word on who would release such DVDs, but Twentieth Century Fox Televison controls the rights to all the Buffiverse characters, and Fox Home Entertainment has in recent years reaped vast profits from sales of DVDs compiling Joss Whedon’s “Buffy,” “Angel” and “Firefly” series.

ASUADPi 03-21-2006 12:28 AM

Bumping (mainly because I was watching some Angel this morning).

Well I'm a bit too lazy to read a gazillion pages, but I don't think this has been asked yet.... (and it's kind of easy).

What was the name of the demon who was Cordy's guide?

ASUADPi 11-27-2006 07:53 PM

bump, bump, bump....

Any takers or should I ask an easier question?

BetteDavisEyes 11-28-2006 12:03 AM

Probably ask an easier question. I feel dumb.

darling1 11-28-2006 04:51 AM

i need to be asleep.......

i think his name was skip.

I don't know as much about Angel, so I'd go with easier.

You are right.

Okay since it is 6:17 in the morning I really can't think of anything but super easy questions (LOL) so here it is....

How did Xander find out Buffy was the slayer? (think Welcome to the Hellmouth/Harvest)

AOIIalum 11-28-2006 10:07 AM

He was in the library stacks and overheard Buffy and Giles' conversation (it might have been their first conversation, but would have to re-watch to be sure.)

AOIIalum 11-29-2006 08:39 AM

The Wish

Can you name all of the former Buffy cast members who appeared in the Bring it On movies? (Hint: I think there are 4)

ASUADPi 11-29-2006 09:42 AM

Eliza Dushku-Faith
Clare Kramer-Glory
Nicole Bilderback-Cordette #1 (The Wish & unaired pilot)
Felicia Day-Vi

It would be much easier to list who the first didn't take form as in S7! :D

IIRC, the First didn't take form as Tara, Ben, Mr. Trick, Prof. Walsh (thank heavens), the Annoying One (again with the thanking of the heavens) or The Master.

ms_gwyn 11-29-2006 04:09 PM

Actually,

The first did take the form of the Master in season 7 opener...

:D
