I did not know that I could watch a show ahead on On Demand! :D I am in business! Thanks. This frees my Sunday up for the Flavor of Love finale.

This is definintely one of my favorite shows as well. However, I have to admit that The Wire this season has not hooked me like the Stringer Bell/Barksdale episodes, but it is finally starting to heat up.

I think I need to get on the HBO "On Demand" wagon.

Snoop is starting to piss me the hell off. DICTION!

She needs a role where she doesn't have to speak too often. The lil' girl is hardcore though.

She scares the crap outta me. I wouldnt want to see her anywhere except at church. Even then I want her standing somewhere near the altar.

I was watching Law and order last light and saw the boy who plays Namond. I hope all of those actors dont get type cast.

Yeah I saw him too. I was glad to see him on another show though, even though he was still playing a street guy. Hopefully they'll be able to branch out from that.

LOL, Omar's coming........................... I so love The Wire. I love it more that I can stay a week ahead with On Demand. I wasn't sure what they were going to do with Stringer dead, but it's cool. Stringer got what he deserved. I feel like I need to grab a knife and go help Omar in jail... Wait are ya'll up to that yet?:o

Both Namond and his momma were pissing me the hell off! I was glad when Brianna cut off their supply and said "I don't give a damn about Avon!"

I wanted Tony Gray to win the election. Only because he looks like one of my frat, though. lol

Namond's mom is the the pits. Why cant she get a job? Why cant she go out and hustle? I find it interesting that she only has one child and it was with a dealer. That must have been her hustle. Namond is having mixed feelings about hustling. The actor who plays Namond is a cute young fellow.

Im glad Carcetti won. I hope he really gets with that slimy guy who took his $20,000 and still endorsed the mayor. That guy is slime. But Carcetti better keep it in his pants or he will have a major scandal on his hands.

I really dont appreciate seeing an episode of The Wire without seeing Snoop and Proposition Joe. They are soooo wild to me.

I'm glad someone is helping Doukie, but why didnt any of his black teachers care enough to try to help him too? I think that is really awful.

Why does the actor who plays Omar strike me as someone who has a close personal relationtionship with weed? His eyes are always yellow-y/red. Now I've heard of character acting, but he is taking a thang too far.

Most of the actors on the Wire has played a role at one time or another on Law and Order. (always street roles)

I was thinking the same thing about Weebay's baby momma, aka Namonds momma...she need to get off her lazy azz and get a job. Making that child sell drugs, telling him he won't drop out of school - yet. WTH?

Glad Carcetti won, now will he make good on his promises to clean the city up? And he def better watch out for Rep. Clay Davis....he had ties with Stringer Bell/Avon. So getting in bed with him is not a good thing.

Can they PLEASE bring Avon back? I am so sick of Marlo. He acts like he's running things when Chris is really the mastermind behind the whole operation. Marlo is like his little puppet.

Oh yeah, and I am so curious to see what's up with Cutty and the boy that ran away when he saw him coming. Plus why was he telling Michael to look at the lady at his gym...he kept saying she was fine and stuff, like he was trying to make himself believe it.

Everyone is scarred of Omar.......... And that cop is dirty anyways. Namomd does not have the heart and will end up getting killed over a package. I mean when they showed it in the end, he hadn't even touched it, not even sold one bag (don't ask)...... Plus he grew up wanting for nothing because dad was all in the hustle and respected in the streets. Therefore, this boy just wants to be a kid and there is nothing wrong with that, but you better get a job. I can't believe, well yeah I can, that she went through all that money. In two years, she had to receive like 2 million as a payoff. And she has nothing to show for it.... oh well.

Carcetti won because he hustled and on top of that, he was right. After a while all you can hope for is change, but to settle for the same ole thing ain't gonna work. I'm glad this is coming out this time of year. Everyone remember this when they are in that booth voting.

I am just starting to get into this show! Up until last year I used to teach in a high school full of "Snoops". I don't miss that environment at all. :rolleyes:

I'm confused...is Cutty messing with the boys or mothers? The way the campaign flier guy ran off it was as if he saw a ghost. However, Cutty in conversation with Michael kept talking about how fine the lady in the background was then Michael responding something like "for messing over his moms?"

I think Cutty is gettin it on w/ the mom. The boy is all stressed out about it as he should be. Cutty needs to remember what he started w/ them kids. You can't be their coach and their daddy. :confused:

Question: when Cutty was watching Michael boxing did he say "you sure are a cute one?"

He sure is after all that attention he is getting, I'm not mad at him per se. Women, we need to do better. A man will be a man if you let him. Although he should try to do better because he does have an image to uphold to these growing boys. Being a womanizer is no better than a street thug.

I agree with you that Cutty has to do better, but I am not sure if I can agree that being a womanizer is no better. It's BAD, don't get me wrong....but some of my heroes are womanizers, too, lol.....

That doesn't make it right... Hell all my uncles on my mother's side are womanizers. It is in their gene, (my granddaddy and my step-granddaddy was a pimp back in the dad... still trying to wonder if that makes me grandma a... well never mind) doesn't make it right, but I love them cause I have to, but I would never ever bring my friends around them.
