All in all when I see a finale that's 3 hours long I want suspense. I don't want to know who the winner is 10 minutes into the show, was that exciting for you? It wasn't "Must See TV" for me at all. No wonder they got lower ratings this year. Last year was way better and it looks like the upcoming season will be better (I hope). |
read on another message board that jen had said she was president of her sorority. anyone know what that might be? just curious?

LOL, that's why I said earlier that perhaps the First Lady and the First Twins can get her a job. |
My opinion on Jen:
Everyone on that show is accomplished in some way. I really don't think one person on that show was truly any better than the other. Jen graduated with high honors from both Princeton and Harvard, Kelly graduated West Point and has several start-up companies, Sandy manages a successful bridal boutique at a young age, etc. Since all the contestants pretty much start off evenly in terms of accomplishments, it was their chance during the season to prove to the The Donald they are capable of being The Apprentice. Jen did absolutely nothing during the season. She shirked responsibility, manipulated other players, and was just a nasty, nasty person. In the end, Kelly was able to pinpoint things he did while on the interview to prove that he'd be the best The Apprentice while Jen had to keep pointing to her accomplishments from over 5 years ago. I'm so glad she lost. |
Audience participation was SO FAKE
OK, I've looked online and I cannot believe I'm the only one who noticed this...
During the "audience participation" (AKA the "Throw Jen Under the Bus Parade"), the speakers were totally reading from teleprompters! You could clearly see it when the cameras showed the wide-angle view of the room - there were about a half-dozen TV screens along the front of the stage and words scrolling down. All of the speakers were in the front two rows, and some of them, you could see kept glancing down at a weird angle - that's how I first noticed. One of the execs who interviewed the final 4 kept looking down, not at the stage, not at Regis. I wasn't a big fan of either candidate, but Kelly was just a wasted lump on the last task and Jen definitely has been scrappy. The audience scene was just so wrong and unfair, and the fact that everyone was reading from teleprompters just makes it so much worse. I'm not sure if the participants from this season who were onstage had teleprompters, but the people in the audience totally did. Tacky, Mr. Trump, very tacky. |
I felt so bad for that guy that got stage fright. At least The Donald was nice about it.
